She was spot on with my reading about myself and past relationships. Gave great advice on how to proceed. Thank you Marrice.

TL;DR - Fake psychic services with scam techniques you can research online. $85 for a rushed 20…read moreminute reading with aggressive attempts at upselling/bait-and-switching. Psychic abilities aside, the reader was impersonal, rude, and pushy. I'll put the scam techniques in the headings of this review that were used on me here and not even in a convincing way for that matter. This place had bad energy from the start. The reader had no affect, didn't introduce herself, and just told us we were getting psychic readings without even giving the person I was with a chance to look at the service menu as if we didn't have a choice. COLD READING / BARNUM STATEMENTS Reading felt rushed and scripted. I was bombarded by questions and information with little to no time to reflect. Nothing she said was particularly insightful or intuitive, or was anything I didn't already know. She was just saying general, vague spiritual sounding conclusions based off my answers to the questions she asked which could apply to most people in general. These scam techniques are called cold reading and Barnum statements that you can look up on YouTube. In the past, I've been to readers who've made me think "Whoa, how did they know that?" and "They described this situation in my life really well" and "This guidance is really helpful" all while taking their time, not asking many questions, and with me providing very little information to them. I was getting none of that here. OVERUSING MYSTICAL PROPS & CONCEPTS She had me think of three things I wanted to manifest, but didn't refer to these things at all the rest of the time. She brandished tarot cards in my face during the reading without seemingly any thought or further explanation. She used a tea candle to "communicate" with my spirit guide, referred to a large, badly made chakra chart briefly, and "gifted" me two very small crystals afterwards. This is a scam technique used to incorporate mystical props and concepts to give the illusion of a psychic experience without having much substance to back it up. THE CURSE SCAM / EXPLOITATION OF VULNERABILITY The most egregiously predatory part of the experience was that she used fear mongering to try to upsell/bait-and-switch me into getting this "cord cutting" mentioned multiple times that she said she could do after the reading. She told me that my bloodline was cursed by dark magic and could result in an array of suffering such as mental illness and infertility that would continue for myself and my descendants if I didn't do this service with her to get rid of it. The video "Psychic Scam" by Numerologist on YouTube describes this exact situation to a T. Someone else left a 1-star review saying they had a similar experience (thank you to that person). Right before telling me all this, she told the person I was with to go outside to "not let the energy mix." In hindsight, this was a tactic to ensure there wasn't any interference in her scheming. By the way, this cord cutting is listed as *250 DOLLARS !!* on their website. The reader also kept saying that I was "out-of-balance" multiple times from the start. I'm sure this would have led her to continue to try to upsell me into something like chakra-balancing for more money. On top of all of that, a small child came into the room in the middle of the reading ?? I told the person I was with to not get a reading after my horrid experience. The reader didn't charge me for the session since I was obviously unsatisfied, so I will give her that. She added that I should be "open to whatever information I get in a psychic's office" and the situation was due to my "stubbornness" which she could see when I came in. Regardless of true psychic ability or unfortunate psychic information relayed, I do not feel that this place has ethical practices which respects the well-being of clients while offering compassionate guidance in a supportive environment. Instead, I left feeling anxious, manipulated, and talked down to. Remember, a good psychic should make you feel empowered and not pressure you for more money.

Went with a friend to try out tarot reading for the first time. Really resonated with the reading.read more
