I purchased my wedding dress and shoes and placed an order for my veil in November 2009 from the Marriage Room in Bathgate. On my initial visit the Customer Service from one person was extremely good, however, upon returning to order my two bridesmaid dresses the service received by a different person was appalling and I left the shop extremely upset. I got married in April 2010 and to date I am still awaiting a phone call informing me my veil has arrived. I wrote a letter informing the owners of my experience, who were disappointed to learn of my comments; however, I was also informed they were surprised I did not enquire as to the whereabouts of my veil and they have a large number of brides on a weekly basis. Surely, wouldn't you expect first class service in purchasing attire for the biggest day of your life, whether they have a large number of brides on a weekly basis or not, and not just to be treated as a number? As you are putting your trust on one shop isn't it their job to ensure you are kitted out and have everything for your big day as planning a wedding is hectic enough for a bride? Sadly, I would not recommend this store. read more
