In my experience I check the cameras intermittently throughout the day and sometimes he is napping in the kennel other times he is out on the play yard living his best life. Just depends on the time of day you check, but I assure you they get plenty of play time and socialization. He normally sleeps good the next day because he plays so hard while there. They even post daily pics of the dogs to their facebook so if you miss your pets play times, you can be reassured there as well. The staff is also wonderful and are always happy to see him. I would not feel comfortable leaving him in anyone else's care.

Each time we bring her to Expressway, her issues are resolved and we are given good meds that help the condition to go away. Dr. Louviere and his staff are so knowledgeable about animal problems. So fortunate to have a place like this. The prices are beyond reasonable. She was "very social" but as her breed is known for she was very protective of our home and family. Many years later there was Baby a male Moyen Poodle of 40 lbs. was born in a rescue after the mother dog was separated from her owner in the evacuation of Katrina. Baby was my sole companion for 16 years and the first male canine I ever had. Today as I write this I have Jacques a red male Standard Poodle I am taking in to get his five year annual check up. While we were initially quoted $75 per hour, the invoice included over $200 in additional "consultation" fees. There was no formal consultation--only a few email exchanges (approximately 3-4 emails) requesting basic information about services and timelines, many of which went unanswered. Due to the lack of timely communication and the surprise fees so close to our wedding date, we ultimately felt uncomfortable moving forward and canceled our plans. Future clients may want to clarify all fees in writing upfront and ensure communication expectations are clearly established.

I never heard anything else until July 4 when I was informed that in order to hold Honey I would need to pay for the boarding up front. Why wasn't I informed of this on July 1? Then they sent a link for fastpayments.com and not bluetails. I again informed them I would not be paying any money in advance. At that point I was told Honey would need to be relisted and they would continue processing applications. And then Courtney sent me this after I told her it all sounded like a scam since I had never met Hobey in person, This is Courtney the founder of Bluetails. We have a very high reputation in our community. My pup needed socialization after being on "kennel rest" for almost six months while going through…read moreheartworm treatments. She is very reactive to other animals when on a leash, but when she's given free reign, she has a blast. I work a lot, so I try to take her to day care once or twice per week so she can get out and play - and she does! It's very rare that I'll check the cameras and she's seated. She's typically right in the mix and playing with all sorts of dogs in the big play yards. If I drop her off for 8 hours, she has at least two hours of running, another 2-4 of playing, and the rest mostly meandering. (She has a pit pat tracker.) She is typically asleep before we even make it home, and then she will sleep well through the rest of the day and through the night. They have cute (if overpriced) crafts and activities for the dogs, the staff have always been extremely helpful, and my pup starts pulling me towards the door as soon as we pull up. I have gone to other locations (not CBW) in the New Orleans area, and the smells and sketchiness of the employees always makes me grateful for this location and their care for my pup.

The staff overseeing her left all the dogs outside while they went inside and the gate was left open due to gross negligence. Our dog escaped from their care on 29 December 2023. As of Jan 18th 2024 we're still looking for our dog.
