An excellent electrician in every way. My mom hired Dan and his team at Marra Electric to convert hanging fixtures to recessed lighting in three different rooms. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Dan took the time to clearly explain to her the scope of the project, from the wiring to installation of the new lights. He's patient, helpful, and a fantastic problem solver. Most importantly, he kept his word -- he called when he said he would, and the job was completed right on schedule. And, he offered a reasonable quote. His crew was equally impressive: polite, professional, and highly skilled. Dan was a pleasure to do business with. When he said he would do something, he did it. I had other who wouldn't even show up to give me an estimate and one that did but then Emailed me and estimate and I said fine and then never heard back from him. His two workers were very good at what they do. It wasn't s small job either. They upped my service from 150 to 200, replaced all the wiring on the outside of the house and ran a dedicated line to a bedroom for my wife's 6 million watt hair dryer. I recommend them highly. I have used Marra Electric twice now. They've put up 2 ceiling fans, installed a Nest thermostat, replaced 16 recessed lights, and installed 3 Ring cameras/flood lights. They were on time, worked efficiently, and were very professional. They taught me how to use the thermostats and cameras and even connected them to my phone! One said it couldn't be done, the other said it would cost 10k and Marta Electric quoted us 3k. Not only was the service excellent and efficient, the bill was 15% less than the original quote! Whether it's an emergency repair or a new installation project, look no further. I had an electrical repair issue last year which was quickly identified by AJ and repaired. This past month Marra helped us with our new pool. Danny, Kevin, AJ and the rest of the crew ran a new 100 amp line through our attic along with Cat6 wire and hooked up all of our new pool equipment including a Pentair automation panel. They also ran electrical lines for new outdoor outlets and lighting. They did a very clean job and the cost was fair. I have used Marra Electric a few times and they have always done wonderful work. I had high hats installed in my basement, electrical outlets added, but the bigger job they did for me was installing a new house electrical cable with brand new breaker box, new breakers, etc. I've never seen a breaker box so neatly wired. Perfectly done! The one thing I really like about this company is that they do not take any shortcuts. They do everything by the book and to code.
