If you are looking for a medical team that looks out for your best interest, professional, compassionate, organize, short response time to billing questions, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! The billing manager and office supervisor will not think twice about ousitng a long time patient over an office policy such as a NO SHOW FEE! This medical group does not send reminder electronic notifications and if a patient doesn't show up they slap you with a NO SHOW FEE and if you dispute it because you were not aware of this policy they will not waive the fee; instead they would rather terminate the doctor patient relationship. I could not even schedule an annual physical because my account was BLOCKED because an unpaid NO SHOW FEE. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company as well as the Better Business Bureau. Unfair business practices has to stop. read more

I have been going to the practice for a few years but never was impressed but stayed going because I didn't have any issues. The office staff is very unprofessional. They never go out of their way to help you. They always make it difficult. As a patient we deserve to be treated better so I am leaving. read more

I have been going to this practice for about 4 years now after my previous doctor retired. I find the office staff and the APN (KELLY) who takes care of me and my wife to be everything one would want from a practice. Also, i am very happy they schedule me for tests to insure if i have a issue they can deal with it sooner then later. I also have no problem getting a appointment. SSSSOO DISAPPOINTING that they requireme to pay a "$100 reinstatement fee" to "rejoin the practice" for missing one payment after 20 loyal years . I explained twice and requested an exception considering the circumstances that a person can barely breathe and missed a payment.... This payment missed during a time when I got Covid after my significant other died after a two week battle in the hospital from heart issues during Covid and he died alone, and I had to miss his funeral and then moved and changed my address and dropped off my 2 kids to college to become an empty nester during the time which would also cause payment issue of that specific payment. Now that I'm up for air and began resolving it two weeks ago. I used Dr Rodriguez and their Therapist. Perhaps they shoukd check with their own Therapist about their decisions on this. My parents and I have been patients of Dr. Maron for over 20 years. I have found him to caring and compassionate, but will hold you accountable for your health behaviors too. My mother has had numerous health issues and he's always been there to help with good advice, counsel and solid referrals. He can sometimes be direct, but you want a good physician and not a salesman. I travel over 45 minutes each way to see Dr. Maron and I plan to stay that way. read more

I've been a patient of this office since 2012. My doctor left two years ago and they put me under the care of Dr. Rodrigues. They kept pushing me off to the Nurse Practitioner and today when I asked for a physical appointment with the doctor they told me I'd have to go on a waitlist. The practice was conveniently located and nicely outfitted, but boy was I wrong in the quality of service provided. The doctors are the least inquisitive of your symptoms, and when I called in complaining of a pressing ailment, the nurse holds me on the call for a long time sifting through the available dates 3 months away! Incase you are too sick to wait and go into urgent care since they wont see you immediately, they will make no leeway in charging you(even if you are too sick to call and cancel once on time). Its fine to charge as long as you provide the best service every other time. The worse insult to the medical profession which should be about service and not absolutely about the $$$$.They are all and just about that. read more

I'm honestly surprised at all of the horrible reviews. I have been going to Maron and Rodrigues for almost 3 years and I have never had a bad experience. My experience with this practice has been excellent. I never have to wait long to be seen after I check in for my appointment. I usually see Kelly who is amazing. She's really smart, helpful and never rushes me. She takes the time to answer any questions I have. I was also surprised to see all the complaints about the billing department. I never had any issues with billing. I pay my co-pay when I check in and I have never received a surprise bill after. I had to write this review so that people can see that not everyone has a bad experience at Maron and Rodrigues. read more

Unbelievable & unprofessional! I have been a patient for over 3 years with this practice and I am very frustrated and confused with both their front & back office support! Apparently the front of the house desk staff was collecting the wrong co-payment for half the year. Each time I came for a visit I would ask what it was pertaining to as my insurance information did not chance since 1/1/2017. Each time it was conveyed that they would look into it and follow up with me regarding an immaterial dollar amount that was supposedly owed. However, nothing was every communicated all the way up to July of this year (last visit). I recently requested a refill on 10/31 on a prescription, and was told that it was unable to be filled as my account was placed in collections. This was shocking to me, so I asked to be forwarded to billing and this is where the 3 year relationship with this practice implode. I was greeted by a condescending employee from the billing department named Danny. Who was insulting and patronizing throughout our entire dialogue and failed to offer any explanation or assistance... I was told that after several attempts to collect an outstanding payment I was placed in collection. I expressed that I was never contacted, by their office and/or any collections agency and simply asked what it was in reference too. I was told that nothing can be communicated and that I had to seek out the information from the agency. I asked to talk to the doctor and I was rejected. After calling the collection agency they informed me that they just got my information one day prior and that no attempt to collect was sent out as of yet as I was just placed into collections. So, I confirmed that no one had contacted me in attempt to clarify the matter and collect said funds. I further asked what the dollar amount owed was and was notified that it was for an outstanding balance of $80.00 of which $30.00 was a result of arrears fees. So in summary, for $50.00 this medical practice felt the need to suspend me from their practice, hold me hostage with my prescription refill for a chronic illness I was prescribed and placed me in collections... In addition after further perusing the matter I learned that the $50.00 was due to insufficient funds collected each time I visited their office (4 times in question). Apparently my co-payment was $15.00 opposed to $10.00, however each time I went including up to my last visit in July they still collected only $10.00. Having said that even the math on the $50.00 owed is inaccurate, as the 4 visits variance should have only been $20.00 not $50.00. I called back there office after satisfying dollar amount owed and was told by Kim in billing that the math on their end doesn't add up either as it should have only been $20.00 not $50.00. Again immaterial for an active patient that has been using them as their family's primary for the last 3 years. In conclusion, after confirming payment was paid they still refused to refill my prescription as they then stated that I needed to be seen for reevaluation for a treatment that I already was diagnosed for, and to make matters worse, I now had to pay a reinstatement fee of $100.00 because of the matter. I respectfully communicated to have the doctor call me to discuss and to date have not been contacted. read more

Corrupt and unprofessional. I do like to medical staff (doctors) but ultimately they dictate the culture and climate of how the office is run. Office calls constantly with reminders for a wellness visit and expects to collect copay that you are not responsible for. I specifically declined electrocardiogram when I scheduled the appointment and when I arrived as my insurance does not cover for it and the service was NOT performed. Yet they bill for it to try to obtain larger insurance payment and also expect me to pay the co payment for a service NOT rendered--fraud!!! I have never written negative review about any office or service until today. Enough is enough! This seems to be an issue every year at my wellness visits and clearly the office hasn't taken any steps to rectified internal issues. I appreciate respect all the time, dedication the difficult work involved with being a doctor but it seems that the practice has forgotten to consider the patients and is mostly focused on the business aspect and increasing profits at any cost. read more

I have never been to a doctor's office that is SO unprofessional!!! The girls stand in a group way to the back chatting amongst themselves, yacking it up about personal stuff and ignore you. The doctor pretends not to notice and the manager seems afraid of them. LOUD and catty and just purely unprofessional. Office is old and dirty!!!! I will NOT be returning! read more

This practice is very money grubbing and lose all of their good new doctors. When I switched because every doctor I saw left they are now charging an astronomical amount for a copy of my medical records. I would NOT recommend them. read more

Went for annual physical. Saw Dr. Maron because the MD I saw previously left the practice. Office charged a copay upon check in even though a routine physical is preventive. Federal law prohibits charge of copay for preventive services, including annual physical. They proceeded to bill my insurance company for two visits on the same day when all I had is a physical. There was no additional treatment and I have no medical issues. This is called insurance fraud. Also billed me $50 for a hearing test I did not ask for. I never complained of having trouble hearing. Called billing and no one responded to 3 messages. Explained that if they did not issue a refund for copay, I would leave the practice. No response. These people should get out of health care. read more
