My husband went here after a guided fishing trip and then insisted that we go when we were fishing in the area. From the boat they looked close (it was 1:30 and covid conditions), but we called and they were open.
The outside doesn't look anything like the welcoming inside. We were greeted by the owner, Ms. Addie, and her son, Garth, who works there with her. Ms. Addie at one point sat at our table to talk and was the sweetest lady ever. It was like I was sitting at my grandma's and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The hamburger and onion rings were made to order and very good. We can't wait to go back! This little hole in the wall is a treasure for the area.
Also note that you will see a lot of dogs and cats around the restaurant. Ms. Addie is an animal lover and she told us some are hers and that she just won't ever not feed the hungry animals. She (and the restaurant) are a gem that you shouldn't miss out on. Take the time to slow down and enjoy your visit with Ms. Addie. You will be thankful! read more
