So I looked up more options and came across Sleep Outfitters. I went there told the very nice sales man I was looking for a decent, inexpensive twin mattress set. He asked me a series of questions, I laid on 2 mattresses and decided on one. It was in my price range as well. We were writing up the deal, I said I wanted to pick it up Friday. He checked the schedule and said a shipment was due but he was a little skeptical due to the holidays. I asked about a delivery for Friday, that he could guarantee and reduced the delivery fee. Then at the last minute he asked me to try one more mattress, it was very high end and it was the most comfy mattress I'd laid on in a long time. He said I could have it for the same price, I took it and left the store extreme pleased. His name is Abe Beasley, he has the best customer service skills and is a very good salesman. I encourage any one looking for a mattress, to stop in and see Abe!

While it may not be a huge spot, it is filled to the brim with goods of all varieties and is certainly still a store that I can and have easily been entertained at for a while. We popped in looking for some furniture in the form of a dining table set and we ended up leaving with a candle, some outdoor lights and a cooler...none of which we were after or truly in need of. Back to the table...they had a table we loved, but they had it due to some damage on it and unfortunately the scratch was a little too deep to fix so we sadly passed. Most of the items are new in package, but they do sell second life items that feature some variety of damage. Nothing glaring, but enough to be noticeable on most of these items. Overall, The Yard Sale Store was a cool spot to spend some time on a weekend afternoon. While we do not find ourselves in Mt. Juliet too often, when we do...this place with be on the radar!

Amazing customer service!!!…read more After a horrible experience with Mattress Firm, I started searching for somewhere else I could purchase a mattress. I came across their website and decided to visit their Hermitage location. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a delightful gentleman named John. I explained to him what I was looking for and the issues I had with my previous mattress shopping experience and he was happy to help me. Even more impressive was that I showed him the tag from the mattress in my guest room that I really like that was 10+ years old, he was able to tell me all about it and while they don't make them anymore, he was able to tell me about all of the improvements they have made on the current models. They had a large selection of mattresses and John was able to show me the ones he thought I would like based on my preferences, and even explained the differences between the various options. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. *Tip* If you sign up for their "Outlet Pass", they'll email you a voucher for an additional discount off of your mattress. Mine was already marked down to a great deal (less than half of what you would pay elsewhere) and they were able to take an additional $100 off. I highly recommend this place and will encourage all of my friends and family to check it out.

Boy was I wrong, and my back paid the price. The next day, I showed up to Marks Mattress Outlet and was greeted immediately upon arrival by Jerry. He asked me what I was looking for and was able to find the perfect mattress (pillow soft, firm, mix, etc.) for me. Not only that, but when he heard I was in pain from sleeping on an air mattress, he called his delivery people to see if they could deliver the same day (unfortunately they were booked with deliveries all day which speaks to how well the store does). I thought I would be dropping thousands of dollars for a brand name mattress, but it was incredibly priced and next business day delivery was impeccable. Highly recommend this store for anyone looking to buy a new mattress, and DEFINITELY recommend for any newcomers moving to Nashville. I can't express my gratitude enough for the kindness and professionalism Jerry and the delivery men exhibited in finding and delivering my mattress.

I've never seen a mattress so horribly made. when I was selecting a mattress in store the manager kept stressing how great the warranty was n that it was made in my state. I thought it was a purchase I could trust but when I tried to make a warranty claim I was denied because the fabric on the box spring was slightly loose- just like it was when it was delivered, yet the company tried saying THAT is what caused me to be stabbed with springs in the mattress. they must think we are stupid n would believe fabric on a box sprin would cause such an issue in a thick mattress. these matttrsses are not worth even $100 and the store clearly tell u anything to make a sale then treat you badly when you have a problem. you would seriously be better off buying furniture from Walmart. save yourself stress n don't shop there

The sales person on the floor (her name might have been Debbie?) was very nice and got us the best mattress for our budget. The gentleman who checked us out answered all our questions regarding payment and delivery. He even offered to preorder a split box spring as we anticipated the regular one would not fit up the stairs. He said he would try to preorder it incase we ended up needing to switch it out and they explained it would be no extra charge if we did end up needing a split box spring. The bed was delivered two days later and well within the time frame they gave us that the people would be arriving. The delivery men were very polite and efficient and took our old mattress out, no extra charge. As anticipated the regular box spring didn't fit and he said they would automatically order the split and we didn't even have to call but we could if we wanted to. I did call the next day as I just wanted to know when the split would be arriving and I spoke to Debbie. She was confused as the truck had not arrived back yet and she didn't get my ticket yet so she didn't know about the box spring, but she also said it wasn't an automatic switch because a split is extra money. They hadn't told me that when I bought the mattress or when I refused the regular box spring the night before, which I was a little upset about. But just a few minutes later, Debbie called me back and said she took care of everything and there would certainly not be any extra charge for the split box spring to be delivered, which I appreciated given I had no prior knowledge otherwise of it being any further charge. Despite the slight mix up, I really appreciated the quick, personal experience I got and the good price. 10/10 would shop here again!
