Marks and Spencer's Shrewsbury location is quite a large store for a small town, although the construction is a little strange due to it being an old building, they have tried to make the store as accessible as they can, such as with a stair-lift to get into the Food Hall, or there are around 5/6 steps and of course, the main store has lifts and escalators. Probably the first Marks and Spencer locations I've visited which isn't a Food Only store to not have basic facilities such as car parking and toilets. The staff did seem friendly enough, and all in all this store isn't too bad for a small town but there are multiple branches nearby which are considerably better in terms of facilities, even beyond the basic facilities which store fails to offer and selection. 3* - It is one of the better/larger stores in the town centre despite criticisms mentioned, I like how you can access it through Darwin Shopping Centre or street level on Pride Hill. read more

I popped into this M&S store whilst en-route to Wales from Birmingham, as I wanted to pick something up. What impressed me most was the friendliness of the staff, so early on a Sunday! It's a nice store, well laid out and was easy to find what I was looking for. Perhaps its because its in such a lovely place (I adore Shrewsbury) but I really like this M&S, it's one of my favourties! read more

Marks and Spencers is based on Castle Street, Shrewsbury, haveing recently extended the size of the store, as it took over the old Littlewoods Store. This M+S store is based over 3 levels, the street level is the middle level with womens and mens clothing, the lower level is the food store, and childrens clothes, the upper floor has household, coffee shop and toilet facilities, which are spotlessly clean. There is a lift that covers all floors, as well as stairs and an escalator. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is well lit and easy to navigate. read more

Marks has recently come back from it's seeming failure a few years back with the huge profit slump. It still has the high quality image but has more youthful and cheaper ranges. The store is always busy and clean and the staff are excellent, as has come to be expected from marks. It can be a bit difficult to fine what you are looking for if you are in a rush and not used to the store but aside from that is excellent. Is also a marks food department down the stairs read more

This is a great big shop as years ago it was only half the size and the other half was littlewoods and then Marks and Spencers took over both places and became a massive M and S store twice the size of before. There is a very big selection of clothes in both the mens and womens departments. There is a large food hall with the normal great quality selection. It's so big it takes ages to look at everything. After Christmas they have great cheap sales of their gifts selection - all at cheap prices, it makes you wonder if it's worth buying the goods before Christmas!! They allow you take goods back ages after you purchase them which is always useful. read more

This is a great M&S store. Being so big, there is plenty of space for all their different ranges and departments. The women's lingerie section is great, there is loads of chocice so you should be able to find what you are after. Several entrances onto the main street or into the shopping centres. At sale times, there are plenty of bargains to be had :) read more

very good M&S! has a food section and lots of good quality clothes! good quality food! good quality! good quality! also has a restaurant!
