They often have clothes and accessories made by local designers too, which is great. The shop can be quite pricey, but you get what you pay for, and i have picked up a few bargains in here when they have had a sale on, which they do quite regularly. A bit further up the hill is the mens shop, which also stocks great brands, and really good quality clothes.

I dropped in at Oliver Bonas as I have been to their stores in London and have found lovely gifts for people in there before. I was undecided whether to get body lotions/creams/bath stuff or candles. I saw a lovely gift set for £25 that I was just about to pick up and buy, when one of the ladies that works there came over to me and asked if I needed any assistance. She pointed out that it would probably work out cheaper to buy the items in the gift set separately, and proceeded to let me have a smell of some of the bodywashes and soaps. She was very helpful and not at all going for overkill, which I find happens at a lot of stores these days. I didn't feel pressurised at all. In the end I went with buying some nice shower gel with some handwash and cream. The sales assistant very kindly offered to giftwrap them for free! Sadly, the gift box I needed was out of stock, so the sales assistant then let me have a really nice gift bag for free! It would have cost £4.50 usually. I thought this was a wonderful gesture. I'll definitely be going back.

The store is quite large and they have a faith shoes franchise within the store. Changing rooms are a bit limited with only two cubicles in the ladies and a communal section too - not great if you, like me dislike showing the world your lumps and bumps! In my experience the staff are usually quite helpful and in good supply. The clothes are well made and tend to stand the test of time too. Another store within the Arndale Centre so as usual, there is parking in the car park but it is charged.

They stock a lot of cardigans, linen blouses and jackets, a-line skirts and the like. It's generally of moderate pricing; a linen blouse coming in at about £40. Their stock is very colourful, and is organised into colour coordinating sections. They also stock accessories such as chunky necklaces, and scarves. The lady behind the counter was very smiley and friendly.
