The plumber already came back a second time because he didn't plumb a pipe, and when I had a third incident, crickets until the office texted me that they were not given a chance to resolve the issue, even though I texted the plumber just like before. Why would I wait to resolve the issue by having the same plumber come out a third time for a job that should have been a one and done? Did I mention this all occurred in the span of like four days? The new plumber putting in my system was appalled that this company makes the profession look so bad. The new plumber pointed out correct ways this job should have been handled, and will be who I use going forward.

He did a GREAT job at a very fair price. His quote was $50 higher than the lowest quote I got - but Ben got the job because I liked him immediately when he came to do an in-person estimate - while the lower bidder gave me an estimate based on a "satellite picture" - not in person. That factor is important to me, as it should be to others. Ben told me he could make my deck (which I last cleaned 15 years ago) look like it was brand new as well - so he power washed that about 10 days ago. He was 100% correct - because my deck now looks absolutely amazing - just like brand new. His price on the deck job was very fair as well. Trust me folks - you can't (and won't) go wrong using Ben. And your bank account will thank you as well.

I tried to use them once before and they are cost prohibitive, IMO…read more Last July, a merchant that I use weekly had his building struck by a car. The company came in sealed off the area that they were going to work on within a few weeks. It seems like. It is now January of the next year and they have done nothing since. Their sign is on the side of the building, advertising that they are the ones that will be working on it. I wonder when that will happen?

I was not optimistic about the time frame for restoration or the process for putting our nightmare behind us. Van Dam was on the job the same day as the flood, brought in huge dehumidifiers and a zillion fans and had the entire basement demolishened and dry in no time. After working out a quote for the insurance company and us agreeing to the scope of the work, everything moved very fast. I was in construction for 20 years, and I know how a well-run job works. I've also found that it's rare! Van Dam, their employees, and their contractors were amazing to work with! Shane and Darrien, their carpenters, and general go to people, were very professional and did expert work. Rob, my project manager was always prompt to respond and to get things done. We had about 800 square feet of finished basement and from the time they started to its completion, it was only about a month. The renovation included replacing drywall, removing and replacing a subfloor, painting, baseboard, removal and reinstallation of bathroom fixtures and cabinets, carpet and plank flooring, They moved the furniture and put it all back when they were done. All in all, I am very thankful for the work Van Dam did for us and I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

They took my call and gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone and was able to come out the next day. They were here and did everything and more than we asked for and did it with high standards. This is what I love about local businesses they not only care about being fair on pricing but fair on the good standard of work. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. I will also be giving them a call when we need more work done in the future. Thanks Briggs for the excellent work!
