Please be courteous and teach your kiddos safety rules about going down and climbing up safely. There's a playground next to the parking lot and another at the school yard. No washrooms around or walkable to, so come prepared!

I find the beginning of classes disorganized because the coaches don't call out names so you don't know where to go if it's your first class or if there's a substitute coach. My daughter's coach is usually absent so it's frustrating because she likes her usual coach. Overall, it's an okay gymnastics school from the four months we have been going there. We will probably take a break from the kindergym class and re-enroll when she's a bit older when it's less play based.

But for this neighbourhood it's a great spot! The baseball diamond gets used at least a few evenings a week. It's great to sit on one of the benches after work and relax and watch a game or watch people playing with their dogs. There is also a splash pad area for the kiddies just a little south of the main park area, beside the ferry to the island airport. Many, many an afternoon i've spent at the ferry terminal, working and envying the little kids playing in the water on a hot & sunny day. After lunch they have a few day camps that come and take over the place, if you want your kids to mingle, it's a good time to come. They fill up the pond area with fresh water every time and drain it later in the day so it doesn't attract birds (and bird poo!). Easy to get to on the Harbourfront Streetcar. Just get off at the Bathurst stop and it's on the south-west corner of Bathurst and Queens Quay. Enjoy!

I'm totally in!…read moreI moved to this area a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to learn that there are THREE parks super close to me - ALL with skating rinks! Yay!! So, pointing out right now, that it's December and I've only gone to this park for skating. As such this review is a bit limited. The park isn't huge, but it's a decent size with a good off-leash dog area. The rink isn't huge, but is a good size. They have pretty decent hours for general "pleasure" skating (no hockey allowed!) and tons of hours for "shinny" (pick-up hockey). There is an indoor changing area and washrooms. You need your own skates - no rentals available. It's amazing to have a skating rink in the neighbourhood! I can't wait to go back!
