We tried to explain to him that he owed her $20 not $10.69. The lady who was helping told him to just do a refund because she asked if I could pay with a card. ( I told her yes) He then proceeded to do the refund and gave me a 10-dollar bill back and some change then to give it back to pay for my skirt. I then told him I paid with a $20 so I would still need my change back. (This was the issue to start with) He started getting more upset and looked at me and said "I'm tired of dealing with all these f***ing impatient people. I was absolutely stunned. Not once was I rude or impatient with him. I looked at him and did not expect my change because I didn't even know how to respond. I was upset so I snatched my change as he kept mumbling about how impatient we were. My mom and Aunt and I also told him how rude and ridiculous he just acted. My aunt then said that we will contact someone for his awful behavior which he replied with "good, I do not give a shit". As I was getting out of my vehicle to enter the store, the employee--who had been sitting outside in his car--walked to the entrance and locked the door directly in front of me. I have also called the store to ask whether a product was in stock. The same employee responded that he "didn't know" and that there was "no way to check," without making any apparent effort to assist. I have since spoken with numerous other customers who described similar experiences of the store closing early when this employee is working. If this is occurring repeatedly, it suggests a pattern that should be investigated by management. As someone with a background in financial forensics, I understand the importance of operational controls and accountability. Repeated early closures can negatively affect customers, reduce sales, and damage the company's reputation. It is concerning that an employee entrusted with closing responsibilities appears to have repeatedly failed to operate the store during its posted business hours.
