This Lloyds branch has just had a makeover and is attractive inside. It is open till 5pm weekdays…read moreand 1pm Saturdays. Many of the staff have been there a long time, so have both product and customer knowledge. However, they are let down badly by their customer services counter. This is located at the head of the queue for the counters, so everyone queuing up can here your business. Private areas are available, but only if you ask. I for one don't want everyone over-hearing my business!

However, they are let down by the way they operate, which is doubtless dictated to by head office,. There can be large queues at the tills but staff are still on the shop floor, trying to sell you insurance etc. More emphasis on servicing existing products and customers may help retain customers - I for one have closed my account as I am fed up with the queues.
