Aside from Dr. Milstein delivering me back in 1990 this has been my GO TO office for absolutely any "womanly issue" you could imagine. I actually see Dr. Bernstein about 95% of the time. He's absolutely hands down the BEST OBGYN in my opinion. I've had to see my PCP and another OBGYN in the past for exams/issues when I was away for college, but after two horrible and slightly awkward appointments away from him I've sworn to see this man for ANY issue or just a regular pap exam for the rest of my life (or until he retires! Which I could never fathom).
He's so gentle, so caring, not the least bit awkward and 100% professional which in my opinion is everything I want in a doctor. I tend to be a bit of a hypercondriac at times after everything i've been through and even then he still listens to my every concern and answers ALL of my questions. I would trust this man with my life. Even if he has to give you "bad news" it's never really that bad because of the way he explains it to you. There is always a bright side. He's so intelligent and experienced in his field it blows my mind every time I leave his office.
If you have an emergency they will fit you right in. I was in so much pain yesterday I could barely move and sure enough they squeezed me in between scheduled c-sections. I know some people complain about the wait, but if it is truly an emergency or you are in ANY pain they will take you into the back almost immediately after checking in and get you examined as quickly as possible to figure out what is going on. They waste no time in emergency situations.
I've had to go multiple times for extremely painful or irregular periods, cysts, bladder infections, annual paps, you name it and I've been there for it. And every single time i'm cared for or cured in a matter of days. I could go on and on about how wonderful Dr. Bernstein is, but i'll leave you ladies with some tips (remember this is just my opinion and it may differ from you other ladies and that's okay!)
I would stick to seeing Dr. Milstein or Dr. Bernstein. I won't go into detail why I would only choose those two out of the five MDs because it's very private and this is his page not the other doctor's. Also, you should get there about 10-20 minutes before you're scheduled visit. It seems as though the later you show up the longer you will wait. I've had to wait about an hour maybe longer for a few visits but ladies REMEMBER they are also birthing children and as we all know this can be very unexpected and things can go wrong. So be patient. It could be you back there giving birth when some snotty woman comes in complaining about not being seen for her annual pap and she's been waiting 20 minutes. Give them a break!
THEY ARE BUSY BECAUSE THIS OFFICE IS GREAT! EVERYONE APPRECIATES A GREAT DOCTOR SO STAY PATIENT AND KNOW THAT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!
average est. wait time: 10-30 minutes!
