Flash forward to an appointment I just had today. I told the doctor about the issue with my glasses and how it took me forever to adjust to the new lenses and that they still didn't feel like they were exactly what I needed. She worked with me to find a more "natural feeling" prescription that still provided the correction that I needed, one that was just ever-so-slightly different from my existing one, and on top of that, she had the lenses made on the spot at no charge other than the regular exam fee! As soon as I put my glasses back on with the new lenses, I could tell the difference. They are perfect now. It really says a lot about a business when they go above and beyond like that to make sure you are 100% satisfied - even with regard to something that happened over two years ago! I cannot recommend Alpine Vision Center highly enough. I will never go anywhere else.

You'll find out for yourself. They take their time with you during the exams and answer all your questions. The staff is very knowledgeable in insurance issues and bend over backwards to help you​ with insurance coverage and copay issues. When it comes to getting appointments, they do an excellent job getting you the day and time you need for your appointment. Check it out yourself. You won't be disappointed. PS they love kids.

Leach FACS and his Clearview Eye Clinic. I call at 9:30 AM hoping they can fit me in. A friendly receptionist answers and tells us the day is busy as it is surgery day, but they will try. We arrive at a very nice building in Lewiston, Idaho. The receptionist asks us to complete a form and immediately recognizes I am in pain. She quickly finds a nurse who administers anesthetic drops within minutes of my arrival. I don't have my insurance card on me, so they call the billing department to help sort it out. I wait for perhaps 30 minutes, all the while patients are entering and exiting in good spirits. We hear that Dr. Leach is one of the top 50 ophthalmologists in the nation (someone else says top 10). I am brought into an exam room and my visual acuity is checked and a basic history taken by the technician. Dr. Leach then enters, introduces himself and shakes my hand. He listens to me. He assesses my injury and offers his advice on the next step. Within minutes, he assures there is no remaining debris and places a soft contact to allow the eye to heal. My pain went from intolerable to gone. He answers all of my questions. He assures me if I have any other concerns to call his office or return for a reexamination. I am an emergency physician and I have consulted many an ophthalmologist. Dr. Leach and his staff at Clearview Eye Clinic are certainly among the best in the nation. If I lived anywhere within a 200 mile radius and needed an expert in the field, Clearview Eye Clinic is where I would go.

Terrible billing experience. When I came in for my eye exam, they told me that I wouldn't have to…read morepay for the exam or glasses (if prescribed) because they had talked to my insurance and it was fully covered. A few days after my appointment I got a call from Rolling Hills Eyecare that my glasses were actually not covered at all by insurance. I decided not to order my glasses through them because it would cost $400. This wasn't the real issue though; I ended up getting a bill in the mail for almost $200 from them for the eye appointment despite being told multiple times that they had talked to my insurance company and there would be no cost to me. This feels very deceptive because I probably wouldn't have gotten the exam if I knew how much it would cost. I also was only notified that they had the wrong information and that I would need to pay something by getting a bill in the mail. There was no phone call, email, or notification through their portal. This feels like a major issue to me because mail can get lost and not everybody regularly checks their mail since so many things are paperless nowadays. When I called about this situation they were very rude to me and didn't apologize at all. Please stay away from this place at all costs if you're looking for financial transparency.
