Nicole and Carol are a great team and we highly recommend that you choose them as your trusted real…read moreestate agents! We started working with Nicole over two years ago as a referral from a close friend who spoke very highly of her. As first time home buyers, my husband and I were basically clueless and had no idea just how complex the Bay Area real estate market is. Nicole helped us navigate these waters with ease, and educated us about the complexities of disclosure packets and purchase contracts well in advance so that when the time finally came, we'd be familiar with such detailed documents. Pre-covid, Nicole spent an entire Saturday driving us to houses in various neighborhoods so that we could see what different cities offered and to help us narrow down our home search based on what we saw. We also attended several open houses together and she always kept an eye out for homes that fit our criteria and attended broker tours on our behalf. We also continued working with Nicole throughout the pandemic and experienced first hand how the original interaction model had to change. Without any open houses, I felt like Nicole had to pour even more time into our search because covid policies required individual appointments to view each home. Nicole was patient with us as we viewed what seemed like 20+ homes during a nine month period. She is respectful of your opinions, but will also share her professional opinion when requested. We ultimately found a home and throughout the entire closing process, not only did Nicole help us, but so did her team. We were in the best of hands and there weren't any hiccups. Together, this team guided us every step of the way with constant communication. DocuSign was used to electronically sign all documents and keys were left in a lockbox when the home was officially ours! In fact, with their help, we were able to close a week earlier than expected! As you can tell, we obviously spent a lot of time with Nicole (she was stuck with us for two years!) and we enjoyed every minute of it. She's great to be around and extremely insightful. Finally, I want to share a story from when my husband and I first started going to open houses a few years ago. When we told other agents who our realtors were (we just would say "carol and Nicole") and they *always* knew who we were talking about. Nicole and Carol have created a reputation that is built upon trust, professionalism and extensive market-specific knowledge.

I was working with a different agent previously and it was not a good relationship, but switched over to have Nicole assist me after recommendations from people at work. Nicole was super patient and took me around to view multiple listings on our first appointment. She was super knowledgeable about the area having more than 20 years of experience. She also walked me through all that I needed to know as a first time buyer, and quickly built trust and made me feel comfortable with her representing me. At every step of the process, she personally walked me through it, explaining to me what all the documents in the housing disclosure package were for, and what I should be looking out for. Most importantly, she was always on my side. Nicole and Carol work together as team and I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be working with them again in future!

Judy just sold our home for us and we are over the moon!…read more I'm a working mom with 2 very young kids and felt like this would be an overwhelming project. She and her team helped make the whole process manageable by recommending great people and providing actionable checklists. I felt like I had a great advocate in my corner the whole time. Best yet, Judy had a strong vision as well as an adaptable and prescient strategy. The house is absolutely beautiful and there were some definite strengths, but it also had its challenges. She presented the house in the best light and found the exact right buyers for us. She and her team have such extensive knowledge of the area, the processes, marketing, but most importantly, they really understand human nature. She should teach classes at business school! We really hope we can work with her again.

But it's a different story when the shrewdness is driven by self-interest and accompanied by blatant deception and manipulations (how is she still practicing?). As her client, I expected honest candid transparency (since it is MY property), and hard work from her. I got neither. This is the third house I've sold in the Peninsula, so I'm no newbie to the process. But my god, I should have listened to the "warnings" I heard from others in the community. In the end, I picked her because I felt her shrewdness would help me get a better price. I was wrong and 100% regret choosing her. I knew I was taking a risk, and I have learned my lesson. Honesty matters in an agent-client relationship. I don't care if she finds a way to inflict revenge on me for writing this review. I feel it's a public duty to share my experience of someone who performs their job unethically. I didn't share this feedback directly with her because I knew she would feed me more lies to cover up what she did. She knows what she did. And she probably feels like she got away with it successfully. How many times will this happen before more clients speak up? It's absurd. For the amount of money I put her in her hands, I expected fairness, honesty and decency.

I worked with Kelly Nicolas to sell my home in Woodside in 2025, and unfortunately, my experience…read morewas extremely frustrating from beginning to end. At the outset, she assured me that she could have the house fully prepared for sale within two weeks. In reality, the process was poorly managed and lacked proper planning. Instead of ordering inspections early--when there would have been time to address any issues--she waited until after the home was staged. This created significant complications. For example, our septic system issue was only discovered late in the process, resulting in a bobcat in the yard during the first agent tour and the replacement had to go into the condition of the escrow. Additionally, plumbing problems surfaced after all staging furniture had already been installed, turning what should have been a smooth preparation into a stressful and chaotic situation. These issues could have been handled far more effectively with proper sequencing. I was also advised not to make repairs, based on her view that buyers--not sellers--should invest in improvements. In practice, this approach felt short-sighted and did not serve our best interests as sellers. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, foresight, and sound judgment. While she may have a strong reputation publicly, my direct experience--and conversations with other agents--suggest that the reality of working with her can be quite different. I cannot recommend her based on my experience.

From start…read moreto finish, she exemplified everything we could possibly want on our side: honest, hard-working, dedicated, super-sharp, easy to work with, efficient, resourceful... I could go on an on. We interviewed several agents with Keri being the last one and ended up as our top choice, mostly because of her in-depth knowledge of Menlo Park, her track record, and her brutally honest yet friendly and professional approach. We hit it off with her from the start and she worked every possible angle to put us in the best situation for both our sale and our buy. Timing could not have worked out any better with closing dates (of the sell and buy) being a week apart with us being able to rent back our home for 1 month while we worked to get all the necessary work done on our new home. Through it all, Keri deftly worked her magic to guide us through every step of the way (offers, counter offers, inspections, recommending contractors, scheduling them for bids and work, and everything else in between). The whole concept of a home sale and subsequent purchase with the risk and uncertainty all the way through is always overwhelming and stressful. With Keri and her team, especially Tracey coordinating, you can rest assured that you've got the best team on your side to take care of you and your family. I wholeheartedly recommend Keri to anyone. Thanks again Keri. You are the best. The best!

When we described what we wanted in a house to buy, Audrey listened carefully and made sure she understood what was most important to us. When the time came to sell, Audrey told us exactly what to expect, and communicated with us clearly and completely at every step--no surprises. With our approval, Audrey brought in excellent people to help get the house ready to sell, including the property inspector, staging and landscaping work. The market analysis she prepared was detailed, understandable, and accurate; the actual sale price was higher than the analysis predicted, as this market continues to rise. We give Audrey top rating for outstanding communication, diligence, efficiency, attention to detail, and knowing the business. Being that I was a retired real estate agent myself I was impressed with Lori's knowledge of the local real estate market and her honesty concerning repairs/remodeling/updating, plus how to pick the right listing price. We had rented the property since 1999. Lori took care of all the aspects of preparing the home for sale. She met with contractors, inspectors, etc. and checked the work progress on a daily basis. She did her own open houses. She also helped us pick out appliances, flooring, cabinets and the list goes on. Since we lived out of town we were totally dependent upon her to get the home ready to sell. Lori is the best. I would give her 10+ stars. E Beggs

I love Palo Alto real estate and one of my favorite things to do on the weekends is go to open…read morehouses. Especially when I have no plans to buy a home in the foreseeable future! We chose Lori to sell our Palo Alto home because she consistently had the best open houses in the area. Her staging is tasteful to the point we've stolen ideas from it for our own properties, the brochures are beautiful, and every little detail down to the nitty gritty foundational details are covered. I like to test agents at open houses and ask them questions like "how does the Buena Vista trailer park controversy impact the future of this neighborhood", just to see how well they really know the market. Unlike many other agents who delegate open house duty to inexperienced colleagues, Lori supervises the open houses herself. These kind of questions are too easy for her - she is always on top of things. Many agents work in too many different cities to follow these events. One thing that really stands out about Lori is how ethical she is. We've done a few transactions in Palo Alto and I've learned to take what most agents say with a grain of salt. Lori is honest and upfront with everything. I'd trust her even if I was on the opposite side of the transaction. I know this because I once bought a property from her through a different buying agent! Another thing I like about Lori is her constant and detailed communication. When selling a multi-million dollar home, I expect to hear all updates immediately. With Lori, we got email, text, and phone communications each day with the status of the open house, contractors, interested buyers, etc. We were updated whether the news was good or bad, and nothing was sugarcoated. At the end of our transaction I honestly couldn't think of anything she could have improved upon. Every little detail was covered, every promise was fulfilled, and everything she said she would follow up on was completed. Lori is a true professional. I would strongly recommend Lori. Check out one of her open houses to see so yourself!
