My engagement ring was a relatively thin platinum band, and they had warned us that the band would be malleable due to the material. However, I didn't realize how malleable it could get until after I began wearing it. I was so set on choosing platinum because I figured it would be the easiest and most low maintenance material. The band kept losing its shape any time I wore it. It began driving me insane because I needed to come in and get it fixed almost every 4-8 months (depending on how frequently I was wearing it). I started to get anxiety everytime I wore my engagement ring because I was so afraid of it losing shape. I began to wear it less and less and stuck to my wedding band (which is white gold--lesson learned) only. I was also too afraid to go to any other jeweler near where I lived to get the ring fixed because I truly only trusted Bridal Ring's team. Finally, I was done feeling afraid and decided to switch the band entirely. I explained to Zoe, an associate at Bridal Ring & explained the situation. We discussed the different options and ultimately we determined I wanted to switch my band to the lowest maintenance metal I could without losing the integrity and design I initially had. Zoe and the team were so kind. They came up with an idea to switch the band to a yellow gold band & solder my platinum prongs with my diamond onto it. It took a week for us to pick it up. & I am so glad I trusted Zoe and the team to execute the vision because I am genuinely over the moon about my ring. It's just as beautiful as when I first got it & now I'm not afraid to wear it! Thank you so much Zoe and Bridal Ring Co for listening to my desires and concerns. I appreciate you guys so much. Amazing Jeweler! When my fiancé and I decided to get engaged, we knew that we'd have to design a ring since her size was 3.75 (!) and she has a unique taste for halos with side traps. After looking around online, she found Mark Broumand and his beautiful work. We live in MD and were hesitant about dealing with a Cali designer, but after a few emails, we felt VERY comfortable with him. I kicked my fiancé out of the process (so she would be surprised) and dealt with Mark directly. First, he was VERY patient, because I literally wrote him a NOVEL about what I wanted for the setting (we already had a stone from NYC). I found elements I liked from other rings he'd designed, which he then incorporated into a single ring. I had a very specific budget, and when his initial quote was above it, he was willing to work with me to alter the design a little to get me to where I wanted to be without sacrificing the important elements. There was no awkward haggling or pushy sales. You do send an initial non-refundable deposit for him to start the the process. Don't worry, though, he will always work with you to get the exact ring you want. The design and manufacturing process took about 3 weeks, and it was well worth the wait! The setting was breath-taking! It was exactly what I had envisioned in my mind, which Mark turned into reality. I had the center stone set locally, and Mark, using only the dimensions I gave him and a picture of the cushion cut diamond, had designed the setting for a perfect fit. My fiancé was floored when I gave it to her. She said it was the most beautiful ring she had every seen, and that was after years of looking at engagement rings. She is constantly stopped by other women admiring her ring. It sparkles in EVERY light. Now for the professional opinions. When I had the diamond set, my local jeweler wanted to know where I got the setting, because it was of such superior quality. We took it to get appraised at the nicest jewelery store in our city, and they were taken back by how exquisite (their word) the setting was. Both my jeweler and the appraiser commented on how well-made the setting was and how STRONG the prongs were. In the end, the entire ring (setting and stone) was appraised at DOUBLE what we paid for it! I don't regret a single thing we did in choosing Mark to design our ring; it was a great investment. He gave us exactly what we wanted, he was amazing to work with, and, most importantly, he gave my fiancé one of the best days of her life! read more

When my fiancé and I got engaged in the fall of 2014, we thought that we had found the engagement ring of her dreams. However, as her first year with the ring passed, the rose gold's pink luster gradually faded and turned yellow. We were devastated, as rose gold was a key feature of the ring for us, and my fiancé wanted to finish her set with a matching rose gold wedding band. We did not trust the original jeweler who sold us the ring to help us the right way and were not sure what we could do. One November day in LA's jewelry district, Mark Broumand came to our rescue. We walked into his store without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon and his team immediately sat down with my fiancé and I to understand our situation and look at her ring. Mark's team worked with us to learn exactly what we wanted in our ideal ring set. Mark personally educated us on the differences between manufactured (what we had unknowingly purchased) and custom crafted (his specialty) rings. We left that day without making a purchase, but we felt knowledgeable and fully informed about our options. The next week we returned to Mark Broumand and purchased a custom crafted engagement setting for the original diamond with a matching, custom crafted wedding band. It took Mark about one month to complete the ring set and we were able to keep the original engagement ring for most of that time. The result of Mark's work is absolute perfection. My fiancé now has the rose gold, micro paved ring set of her dreams, right down to every detail (diamonds surrounding the base of the setting, completely solid ring with no manufactured indentations or gaps). I highly recommend Mark Broumand and intend to return there for future business. read more

Buyer beware! The older sales lady is horrible! I recently purchased 2 rings from here and was completely disappointed. I visited the store with two other people to help pick out the rings. They initially quoted a price for the rings and was fine with the price, until they decided to change the ring on me. Since they did not have the correct size they had to order them. According to the sales lady one of the other persons with me picked a different ring. That makes no since why would they do that. I did not notice since i trusted and was in the belief I was getting the ring I picked out and the same people went with me to pick it up and they received it. That was a huge mistake on my part. I did notice before I left the area and tried to go back but it was closed for the day. I returned the next day to try to clarify the misunderstanding and was willing to work something out. The older lady just kept arguing with me saying that was the ring I picked but she would change it of course for a whole lot more completely different from first quote. She clearly knew those rings she gave us were not worth what we paid one of them was completely different. I just wanted the ring I first picked out at the quote she gave me or at least something close to it. I told her I would have not agreed to pay that much for one of the rings she gave us. We had told her we were going to purchase another set in the following months but apparently she did not care to keep a customer..They don't know what Customer service is. read more

My husband found a design that he fell in love with at first sight. The only problem was finding a jeweler that can duplicate it. We were looking for a true artist that was an intricate craftsman that also pays close attention to detail. After meeting with several other jewelers, we thought the design would never come to life. Mark Broumand was the exception. The moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable and was elated to get started. We showed him pictures and discussed our concerns that other jewelers had about fabricating the design. Mark did not want to change anything. He wanted to make it exactly how we envisioned and was up for the challenge. Mark also guaranteed his work because he was confident that he could give us what we wanted. We gave him a deposit and within a few weeks, it was completed. We gave Mark specific guidelines, and he over delivered. His impeccable work exceeded our expectations. Mark created a design of stunning craftsmanship. His skill, artistry, expertise and technique showed in the rings. We have scrutinized the set and can not find any faults. It is perfect! Mark was professional from start to finish. We are thankful to have found Mark and will recommend all our friends and family to him. We came in under budget for the perfect set. My fiancé and I were planning on getting engaged and happily looking for engagement rings! We looked on-line together to get ideas about settings and prices. We were definitely on a budget, but hoped we could still find the ring of my dreams! I hoped for something classic, elegant and original. After searching and finding Mark Broumand's website I was completely amazed! I fell in love with a beautiful emerald cut diamond ring. It had a halo of smaller diamonds around the center stone and diamonds on the band. I was hesitant about purchasing the ring, because I live in NY and Mark's store is in CA, but Mark Broumand arranged to send my fiancé the ring with the appraisal. Everything checked out and the ring was spectacular! My fiancé loved the ring and the price :) and we got engaged last November. I then contacted Mark and he designed my wedding bands as well, which perfectly compliment my engagement ring. I constantly receive compliments! I am absolutely in love with my rings! When I first received my engagement ring, I had a tough time finding a band that worked, and I never liked how bulky it felt. I decided to finally change it with my husband's blessing. I found Mark who took his style and my ideas and made my engagement ring into something unique and beautiful. He took my center cushion and placed it in a custom breathtaking band, and made a similar wedding band that complements it perfectly. I was very specific in what I expected and what I wanted in my engagement and wedding band. I had this image in my head and I was so happy when I saw it for the first time because it was exactly what I hoped for! He answered each email in a timely manner and was professional each time, even when I was changing my idea or adding something new to the plans. I found him through his social media presence, but I chose him for his style, unique rings, and his beautiful presentation. For several months, my husband had been searching locally for an original antique setting diamond ring as a special gift for me. Our favorite jewelers in my hometown San Diego area were not able to locate the "right" ring. He extended his search online and came across the Mark Broumand website. There we found a gorgeous antique diamond ring that up till then, I had only imagined. However, I remained skeptical - too beautiful to be true? After speaking with Mark on the phone about the ring, we decided that it was worth the time to make the 100 mile drive to Los Angeles to visit the Mark Broumand store. We were not disappointed. For me, when I saw the ring, it was love at first sight. I did not want to look at any other ring or consider having a custom ring made as another option (which shocked my husband knowing how much I love to shop). It was a pleasure working with Mark who was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Thank you Mark! PS: Go on Sunday if possible, because driving in downtown LA is less of a challenge. And you will be more likely to find a parking place in the parking garage adjacent to the jewelry building. read more

Mark and the team were amazing to work with. I had gone to several jewelers before and something always felt off. I knew I wanted something special for my fiancé, but really didn't know how to go about creating it. All I knew was that she wanted an oval cut, and she wanted the rest to be up to me. From the moment I walked in the door, they took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. They answered all of my questions and showed me multiple options within my budget. By the time it was done, we were combining 4 different rings to create the perfect one for her. The time frame was a little tight as we were headed to Mexico in three weeks, but Mark was able to make it happen. They could not have designed a more perfect ring for my fiancé. I love it and most importantly she loves it. Since then, I went back to purchase a bracelet for her. What truly impressed me was that they actually remembered me! This shows the level of service and professionalism at Mark Broumand. I know where I will be telling my friends to go and where I will be going to design her band. read more

I had always wanted to upgrade my engagement ring setting and never found a jeweler with the style I was looking for until I found Mark Broumand. Wow! Once he was ready for my stone, he arranged for the shipment. After a few days I received a beautiful video of my new ring and it was truly amazing. I most definitely approved and received my ring back the next day and could not be happier. The setting he designed showcases my diamond and made it even more beautiful then I ever imagined. I had a great experience purchasing from Mark Broumand. Everyone I talked to was professional and helpful. I was able to get width and height measurements of a ring right away over the phone. He might be with a customer when you call but he always calls back when he gets the chance. I was worried about my ring getting delivered while I was out of town. Mark was very accommodating for me. He emailed me when my ring was done and found out from me if I would be home before shipping my ring. I was so happy when I got my ring. It was very well-made. There weren't any imperfections. First let me say I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago where we have access to world-class jewelers both in the City and along the North Shore. I knew I wanted a radiant cut diamond eternity band for my anniversary and found Mark online after first seeing what our local jewelers had to offer. I was very hesitant to make such a purchase online but I vetted him and found endless reviews that spoke about the ease of working with him, his attention to detail, his artistry and the beauty of his designs. We exchanged numerous emails and every time my vision changed (the look of F vs G in an eternity band? VVS2 vs VS1? more square radiant or more elongated radiant? Size 5.5 because in winter rings are looser? Size 6 because in summer rings fit more tightly?) Mark's answer was always YES, we can do that. The ring came on Monday and it is beyond beyond. Mark has a flawless eye and the pride he rightfully takes in his artistry is well-deserved. read more

Magnificent doesn't come close to describing my spectacular wedding ring from Mark Broumand. Mark sourced my stunning 3 plus carat center stone after looking literally throughout the world. The color, cut and clarity exceeded anything I had hoped or dreamed of. He worked closely with my husband and myself to create this beautiful masterpiece, sending us pictures and even a 3D rendering of the final design for our approval. The finished ring was sent with both the GIA certificate as well as an appraisal for insurance purposes. When the ring was completed, he expedited the delivery to our home and even followed up with a call to make sure I was happy with the ring. He is so easy to work with and such a kind man. I can't say enough about him, his staff or the integrity of his business! He is our jeweler for life! read more

I found Mark Broumand through instagram. The photos looked amazing but I was worried that it was out of my budget. I reached out by email and spoke with a lovely representative who took a lot of time going through options with me. I was able to select a ring, customize it exactly how my fiance wanted, and even was able to pick the diamond. I am from Canada so I was weary of making such a big purchase without seeing the product but they were reassuring that I would love the ring when it came in. They offered me a return policy in case it did not turn out the way it did in the pictures but I had no need, as the ring turned out even better than I could have imagined. My fiance loved the ring. Thanks to the team for making this process as easy as possible and I would recommend Mark Broumand to anyone! read more

I'm not big on writing reviews but I was so satisfied with the service and exceptional quality I got with Mark that I had to! I was looking for a wedding band for my soon to be husband with a very specific look in mind. Unfortunately, the first ring I ordered didn't live up to my expectations. I contacted Mark to see if I could exchange it and he agreed without hesitation. We talked about what I wanted the ring to look like and Mark created one with my exact specifications in mind. Whats more, I asked Mark to engrave the ring last minute and he once again did it without hesitation! The ring arrived a few days ago and it is absolutely PERFECT! Thank you Mark! I can't wait to see my fiance's face when he sees this ring on our wedding day! read more

My parents and I met Mark by chance. I have never met someone as cool as a cucumber. Mark and his staff were incredibly friendly, laid back, not pushy, and professional. I bought an amazing stone for my engagement ring. He gave THE BEST price, quality, gorgeous setting, matching band, and laser IDed the stone. Papers were provided. It was ready before the quoted 3 week period. The ring exceeded my expectations. I get compliments all the time. I love this ring! A few weeks later my fiance wanted to buy a high end watch. I told him about Mark and the quote he gave me. He couldn't believe it. Before I knew it, he purchased two watches. We always do our homework and negotiate before we buy. No one has ever quoted a better price than Mark!! read more
