I followed my stylist here when she opened this business many years ago and have never left. Although I can only speak to my experience with my stylist, I've spent a great deal of time there over the years. Very comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, bright and cheerful. Large couch for those waiting or being "processed" with a large selection of current magazines. Customers are young, old, male, female, and all seem to leave happy. The owner (Lisa) is always there and happy to help . Reasonable prices, stylists who keep up with current styles and techniques, friendly neighborhood salon feel, make this salon an excellent choice.

I had read good reviews about Blakeley prior but was still nervous when I went to see her the first time. I've had plenty of experiences in the past where the stylist would ask me about what type of pixie I wanted and then just go ahead and do something completely different but I am happy to report that Blakeley is definitely NOT one of those! During that first appointment, she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and would check in with me throughout to make sure that I was completely happy with the way the haircut was progressing (which I was!). I've been seeing her regularly for 9 months now and have always loved how my hair turns out every time! Quite honestly, it was the most underwhelming experience I have had. We were not able to all three be seen at one time, but two of us went first, and then another of us went into a separate room to have theirs done. Which already took away from the experience. There was no music, no ambience and I had to ask if they had water or anything to drink. The pedicures were to include a calf massage. Which none of us received. We felt as if we were given a very minimal treatment. Though the pedicures we asked for were not even the basic. One of us had to return to have our polish redone as the polish on the toes shrunk and wrinkle within a hour of leaving. When it was all said and done we paid nearly $250 for the service. Though the girls were very sweet, we feel they were very new. It was nowhere near worth it.

I go to Amanda, she's been the go to gal for me since I moved here six years ago. I had two requirements when I moved here and was looking for a stylist. First, I use a certain brand and I needed to stick with it and she was good with that, going out of her way to order my brand after the starter I brought from my previous stylist back East ran out. Second, NEVER let me cut my hair on a whim. Amanda has never let me make a mistake and I adore her attention to making me look good. Right on the Broadway in downtown Edmond this is a friendly salon with all ages and families coming and going. I wouldn't pick any other place in town and adore the entire staff. When Amanda was out on maternity leave, Katherine stepped in and took me on. Another time Sheila took me on when something popped up and it was seamless. LOVE these ladies!
