Our Nerja Tour guide recommended a few restaurants in town and this was one of them. He said it was more on the pricey side and the food (seafood) was excellent. After a quick tour of all the options, decided to give them a try.
They are located where you can have amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, all of those tables were taken.
Started with a Majou. A lighter Lager which turns out to be the most popular Spanish Beer brand. First time trying it and enjoyed it.
For Starters, it was Seafood Salad. Full of fresh Seafood with a light dressing. One of the best Seafood Salads ever!
Our Tour Guide recommended the Red Mullet and I considered it. That option went out the window when I saw Octopus Galician style on the menu. The last time I had this dish was in Menorca and it was unforgettable. Marisquera's version was sans potatoes. No matter, it was delicious! Perfectly cooked Octopus, tender and seasoned with Olive Oil and Paprika.
No room for Dessert so finished with a Cappuccino.
I saw one of the Servers cutting and serving a fish dish table-side-looked like he was working on a masterpiece!
Service was attentive and patient with my questions. A Gem which I thought was reasonably priced for the Seafood quality and service. Would highly recommend! read more
