Customer service was horrible. I ordered a hot plate with shrimp, haiba, and pulpo (octopus) . The lady server was so rude and disrespectful, brought me a cold order instead. If you have a craving for sea food don't come here. This place is -0 review for me. read more

Our waitress got one order wrong. Brought us something different from what we ordered. We ordered mariscos. They didn't even clean the shrimp. Gross! For the price $36.00 they should clean the shrimp. We will Never go back. read more

Great food and great service as well as food and comfy place to stay and sit at!!!! Should come and visit

Great authentic Mexican seafood! Really enjoy tacos al gobernador and the piña en mariscada!

I think for their prices... they should have great customer service... unfortunately they don't. The food is worth trying though... you could be the judge on whether its worth it or not. I haven't gone back, but If I were to go again, it would be to go. read more

Customer service here was a joke , they didn't greet us coming in and didn't even give us a menu to begin with the waitress asked to take our order after a while then we told her we never got a menu . We ordered 3 orders of ceviche and only got like 3 tostadas total , they never came to ask us if we needed anything we had to get up look for the waitress and ask for more tostadas to finish eating and they still gave us a limited amount ! The place seemed dirty the ceviche was ok a little Bland but definitely not worth the price .we went there from out of town for a quick bite . Definitely regret it , I'm just hoping I don't get food poisoning from this . read more

I thought it was very good. I had the Chile Delano's and it was delicious and presented very well. The building does not look like much on the outside but the food was great. They have an interesting "dip" Served with their chips that was really good! read more

Please avoid going to this place...we eat out quite a bit, are not picky eaters and very rarely are willing to take time out of our busy schedule to write reviews, but I had to make an exception. Pros: Our particular waitress was kind and honest. Cons: The food tastes terrible and we are not picky eaters. Way too salty or bland, but no true flavor. The "ceviche" was literally raw, instead of being cooked in lime or boiled. We informed them of this and they said didn't have time to cook the ceviche fully in the lime. Overly priced for what you get. The place is very dirty and I find it hard to believe that it would pass a health inspection. read more

I had been to this place in the past and it was good. Unfortunately I went this weekend and was so disappointed. I ordered camarones al veneno. The shrimp was so old it was literally falling apart as I was taking the skin off. We ordered a kids plate of rice with shrimp. We thought the shrimp would be breaded or somethin. They literally put rice with boiled flavorless peeled small shrimp on top. The carne asada, meat was over cooked in oil. Overall horrible food. They took the shrimp meal off the bill and our bill was still over $44 they said because they charge 10% just for the service. Their chips were stale and the beans they gave us were enough for about 4 chips. SMH I will not be returning here nor do I recommend it to anyone. read more

First time here and my experience was bad poor customer service and the food was cold tables duty and the floors were really duty like they haven't clean in months I ordered aguachilles and they didn't have any and ordered a pescado zarandeado after one and half our finally got it and was over cooked Definitely not coming back read more

The food is usually good! SERVICE IS HORRIBLE ! They need to retrain their staff rude and unprofessional. I once got charged extra, so check your receipts. prices are high for the amount they now serve (different than a few months ago) wish i could rate a 5 but the staff is a big issues.. and it takea forever to get service read more

Their service is terrible. You arrive they hand you the menu, take 20 minutes to take your order, another 10 to bring you drinks. Another 30 to bring your food out. read more

Amazing! Love this place. They take their time to make your food and the seafood is delicious. Love the ceviche they serve in the beginning. So happy when we are able to stop in and make it to this little hidden gem. read more

Mariscos Morales - Shrimp cocktail and the tostada with shrimp and octopus. To die for. - Mexican Near Me - Hubbard, Oregon

Sometimes you find the best food at out of the way places in towns that are barely on the map. Service and food outshine the hard benches and the loud Mariachi band. Mariscos Morales is just this kind of restaurant. We brought our own wine and were NOT charged a corkage fee. Wow!! What a novel idea. We offered to pay a corkage fee, but were denied. We left a hardy tip. :) The first course was your traditional chips and salsa. But it wasn't salsa. It was ceviche. Cilantro, small bits of tomato, thin slices of red onion and sea bass all soaked in lime juice. There was depth of flavor and I wanted much more. We all had a shrimp dish, mine was garlic and sweetness of the sauce married with the beans and rice is a flavor I will remember forever. My friends had the shrimp diablo - a bit spicier but not over the top. In fact the flavor profile and combination was perfect. They offer the 'chica' size and 'grande' size and believe me, the chica size is plenty for anyone. I wanted to try the full one seafood cocktail with octopus, shrimp and fish but my friend didn't get too excited about the octopus. Okay, the atmosphere is nothing special. But the quality of the food makes up for what is lacking in that area. Our wait staff bent over backwards to make us happy...today's trendy restaurants could learn something from these folks. I'd suggest taking a group of people, drink tequila, eat great seafood and party with the mariachi band!! You'll never forget the experience and you'll take your out of town guests for an experience they'll never forget! read more

Love this restaurant!! The staff is very friendly as well as attentive. Ceviche shrimp or fish is outstanding and fish tacos are hands down the best I have ever had!!! read more

Mariscos Morales - Fish Tacos!! Best EVER!! - Mexican Near Me - Hubbard, Oregon

I would give them 4.5 stars if i could. The food was overall very good. The mojarra frita was exceptionally good, well seasoned and cooked just right. The coctel de cameron and tostada de ceviche de cameron were solid too. Service was attentive and prompt. My horchata was way too sweet, a bit disappointing. Best part: they serve you fresh chips and a sample of ceviche upon your arrival. Coming from LA I have high standards with mariscos but this is very good for Oregon. I would say they are comparable to Mariscos Las Islas Marias in Salem. read more

Very poor customer service. Waited 15 minutes to get seated and ordered our food ASAP, having in consideration that they were busy to put our orders in ASAP too. They should have more waiters for busy days! Had customers leaving because of the wait, after finally an hour, they brought our food. The food is great, but the customer service was not it! read more

Absolutely can't live a hangover with out stepping into this magical place. The food is soooo good I can't stop going. Sometimes I'll be running around and I will have this urge to eat at this place. If it would be in Portland I would be eating here three times a week if not more. If you are looking for a solid Mexican authentic place please don't hesitant to try this amazing place. I would give this more then 5 stars if I could! read more

Just getting a chance to review this place. Came here last month and my God was the food not good. I love seafood but this place was serving some old smelly shrimp. We ordered "aguachile" and civiche de Camaron. The shrimp was raw and very old, had a very strong fish smell to them. Very disappointed since I was looking to have my shrimp with a cold beer... Did not happen. read more

The food here is good. But the service is horrible. Not only did they take over an hour to get our food out. They got 3 out 4 orders wrong. Maybe the waitress was just having a bad day but is not acceptable for the prices they have. Not to mention when I went to pay she asked if my money on my account. ( she was having issues with the credit card machine) read more

They served us some variety of ceviche with our chips and salsa. Heavenly. Fresh ingredients, wonderful flavors, and friendly, prompt service. read more

The only reason for a four star is because of the seafood cocktail. It was very very good but warm. It would have been 100 times better if it was ice cold. The salsa and cevichi was great with the chips. Chicken tacos were good as well. This would be a five star if cocktail was cold. For being in Hubbard you wouldn't ever think this good of a place would be there. Prices are slightly on the high side. read more

Horrible experience. The food is okay but the service is horrible because the waitress had a terrible attitude and she was being a little bitch I would not recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys good food or service. Food is ok but the place was dirty and the service was slow. They weren't as attentive as it was some years ago. Their personnel don't pay much attention to cleanliness, the restrooms were a mess and the carpet looked really bad. They need to improve or customers won't come back. read more

I give it two because part of the meal was good but the service was terrible (resting bitch face older lady) hates her job, even when you try to be nice or even crack joke to liven her up she stone cold, we order oyster especial which is oysters with ceviche type on top, looked beautiful but the oysters under the beauty were BAD like milky white sticky fluid n BAD BAD taste n when we told her they were bad she instantly was offended n said the cook said it was because of the lime we squeezed on them, well we eat those in every seafood restaurant we go to n squeeze lime on all of them n never have we ever seen that milky sticky crap on any, so at end of meal we went to pay n she charged us for the plate of oysters even though we couldn't eat them n when i asked her why she said well you ordered them so you need to pay for them n i said i will pay for 6 that we uncovered to look at the oyster but refuse to pay for the entire plate, im never one to skip out on a bill n felt like she thought we were trying to do that so after all that i even left her a $9.00 tip to show her it wasn't about the money it was about the food quality, what she deserved was $0.00, so just remember that if you go here DON'T order the oysters n prepare to wait a while for your food n her mean muggin the entire time n you'll be fine!!! read more

A mess to check out she was charging us for a large plate when we ordered a small and we let her know we order a small not a large she said the system said large there for she would charge us a large. Food is okay everything is pretty pricy for the portions they give. read more

I've been going here and getting food to go for a while now and the food is awesome!! Always delicious! However, the staff began gossiping about my order right in front of me. They began speaking in Spanish thinking I wouldn't understand what they were saying while laughing hysterically about what I ordered, while I understood everything they said. I felt good and excited about the food coming in but felt horrible walking out. This has been a favorite spot of mine. However, I will not go here anymore and will tell my family and friends not to go here as well because of the awful experience. They have lost several customers due to the lack of consideration from the waitstaff. read more
