Came late morning around 11. The waitperson was ok. Took our drink order and brought it back promptly. We got the standard chips and salsa which were good. Salsa was spicy. We ordered the shrimp empanadas as an appetizer. I wasn't sure about them since I never had cheese and shrimp before. But they were delicious so was the sauce they serve it with (in a little cup). I ordered one fish taco and the waitperson looked at me and said "just one?" With a surprised face. As if saying you can eat more. I wasn't sure if they were going to be big or not. I just wanted one. Since I got the empanadas I knew I was already going to be somewhat full. She pressured me into getting THREE. When my fish tacos came they were huge. They had two fish fillets in them. They were beer battered. Super delicious. I only ate half of ONE. I took the rest to go. Eating the tacos the next day they weren't good. 5 out of 10. Menu and inside are not the same as photos. Agua chile were good but a little too under cooked. A little under cooked is ok but not like this. Camarones a la Diabla were not spicy at all. My fiancé didn't finish his plate or take left overs home. He said rice and beans were good tho. Queso fundido was bomb but not Oaxaca cheese. Paloma was ok but I taste more carbonated soda than any flavor or alcohol. Most likely will not return. First time at this type of restaurant. Tradiational Hispanic vibe. My boyfriend and I got the Molcajete for 2. The salsa inside the molcajete was delicious. I also got a dragon fruit mojito (not strong) My boyfriend got a Paloma (strong) I also ordered a side of beans and rice they were good but the beans were not hot temperature wise. We came from a long drive and were super hungry. We ordered a mocahete and were served chips while we waited. The chili had no flavor, I didn't say anything as I didn't want to upset anyone. The food came and the asada was super small and burnt, the chicken was cold, the green onion had literally no bulb.. the chorizo was cold and salty, the bacon wrapped bacon tasted old. The beans were cold and had no cheese and tasted salty. Unfortunately I will not be coming back here, we tried everything bit didn't finish anything. I told the waiter after I paid. This restaurant has great seafood variety. We ordered the mojarra with rice and beans, oysters, camarones a la diabla, and ceviche de pescado. Everything taste delicious, the service was quick, yet we did come around 1pm and the restaurant was not full. It is much more crowed during the afternoon/evening. Great location, my family and my self love this location. My wife gets the shrimp cocktail in which is very delicious. The shrimp is very big and worth it. My son and daughter get the cheeseburger and chicken nuggets kids meals and they love it so much. I get the chicken fajitas which are very good, evenly grilled with juicy chicken. I also have tried the garlic tilapia fish and it's very delicious. The waiters are always very busy but still always doing their job. They check on you and get you whatever you need. The manager that was working tonight was so incredibly nice and truly went above and behind to help. The food, once again, was amazing and tastes very fresh and authentic. We were in the Moreno Valley area and were craving a Molcajete. After looking on yelp, we found several places but decided to try Mariscos Mazatlan. We are sure that we did. The service was great. The food even better. We ordered the Molcajete which feeds two. I also ordered six oysters as an appetizer. The oysters were not as fresh as they could've been, but they were edible. I wish they would have served some type of sauce to put on the oysters, but it was served with lime only. They were nice size oysters, though and worth the money spent. It's not exactly like we're right next to the ocean or anything so you can't expect them to be much fresher. The Molcajete on the other hand was fantastic. it had Carne Asada, chicken, chorizo, Mexican cheese, peppers, onions, and cactus. The sauce was deep red and rich in flavor. It is served with a side of tortillas of your choice and a large side of beans. It was enough to feed us both and we took some home to make my husband a burrito for lunch the next day. They also give you chips and salsa, complementary the salsa was very tasty, but I wanted something a little hotter so the waitress went to the back and brought me up and much hotter salsa. Some great Marisco's deep in the heart of Moreno Valley. Wife and made a trek out to visit her family and have a day out. Father in law decided he wanted Marisco's (seafood) and the food here didn't disappoint. I ended up getting Camarones de ajó (shrimp cooked in butter garlic sauce) with a side of rice. Kid you not, hands down, my favorite shrimp dish. Butterflied shrimp erfect seasoned with the right amount of salt and chunks of garlic served in it's own dish. The side of rice was fluffy, and similar to that of a pilaf without the salt. My wife ended up with Camarones a la diabla (shrimp in a spicy sauce). This was tasty as well, although not as spicy as I'd like and slightly more tomato tasting than others I've had. Still yummy. All foods come with either hand made corn tortillas or regular flour made tortillas. Didn't get to taste the other dishes, but all were visually appealing and that's an important part of eating right? There is also a full bar here. I ended up ordering a margarita on the rocks. Not sure if I just got a bad make this time around but the margarita was almost undrinkable. Maybe I'll just stick with a beer next go around. Service was fairly quick and very pleasant. This place is my Sunday go to. The chips are always fresh along with that delicious salsa. I always get the menudo, I can see they clean the meat really well. Menudo is not greasy at all.
