Best fish tacos I've had in the Bay Area. Red salsa is amazingly good. Little goes a long way in spice and flavor. Definitely will be coming back. Usually parked along ECR.

I've driven past Mariscos El Pariente a few times and finally stopped after walking by and checking out the menu. Prices are honestly hard to beat, especially for seafood. I ordered the aguachiles on a tostada for $6, which is crazy affordable. The shrimp tasted fresh, the sauce had a nice kick, and everything was balanced well. The tostada stayed crunchy and held up with all the toppings, which isn't always easy to pull off. Simple, flavorful, and satisfying. This is one of those low-key spots you might overlook, but it's worth stopping for. Solid food, great value, and exactly what you want from a roadside mariscos stand. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Service was excellent and truck was clean and decorated nicely.

Delicious and affordable! If you're craving some ceviche or seafood tacos you can't go wrong here. Everything tastes great

Been meaning to leave a review for this food truck. They only have seafood no meat. Their fish tacos are so good. The shrimp tacos are crispy tacos. They're on the corner of San Luis and El Camino. You can call ahead and order over the phone

The first I time tried shrimp tacos dorados was at Mariscos El Pariente and I've been hooked since. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area. I always hope to see their truck when I'm diving down El Camino. The service is quick and you get a good amount of tacos for the price. They sometimes have chairs and a bit of shade but I usually take these tacos home to eat.

This out in the open gem continues to amaze my palet. If you like fresh seafood and friendly service, you have to visit team Mariscos El Pariente San Bruno! I have tried most everything on their menu but my go-to dishes are their tacos Dorados and Pescado.....yum!!

My coworker put me on to this food truck located in San Bruno on El Camino. We go every couple of months to get the Tacos Dorados, a rolled up tortilla with shrimp and fried with sliced avocado on top and some serious heat for red sauce on the side. Solid, 4.5 overall. I'm a fan. I also like to get a couple of fish tacos to go along with it. Solid breaded tilapia, pico de galla, avocado, mayo and secret sauce. Cost is fair at about $3 per taco. My coworker also likes to get the ceviche to take home, it's a plastic container filled with your favorite seafoods. When I tried it, it was really tasty. A container runs around $18. The service is solid, you order from the window and get your order within 5-10 mins depending on how busy they are. Parking is on the street, it's fairly plentiful and free. The furthest we've walked is about 1 block, maybe a block and half, but most of the time it's right near the truck. They do have plastic chairs to sit on if you want to eat there, but it's not comfortable. We usually grab and go back to the office.

Maybe it was an off day, but I didn't enjoy the shrimp tacos that they're famous for or the ceviche. The ceviche came off as very fish, and the fried shrimp mayo like tacos were even worse. They didn't taste fresh at all. You know that seafood slimy taste, that's what this tasted like. I ended up throwing it away in the trashcan because I didn't want to get sick.

The seafood is fresh and not frozen, from what I can tell. Today I had the tacos dorados and the tostada aquachile. The taco were crazy good and perfectly cooked. The taco shell was crispy, while the shrimp was not dried out! These tacos have to be the best thing on the menu. The Agua Chile, I hate to say, was below average. Yes there was plenty of fresh shrimp, but there wasn't enough juice and the onions were still raw. It seems like it may have been recently prepared, because the onions were harsh. The service was great. When I drove by, it seemed like they had a short line and I wasn't gonna stop. Four blocks away, I changed my mind, pulled over and called my order in. By the time I got there and parked, I walked up to the truck, paid and I was off. I'm definitely going to go by again for a third time. My heart is set on finding a tostada that I enjoy. And you better believe I'm grabbing some more of those tacos!

This food truck serves burgers, tacos, and quesadillas, pretty much a microcosm of what people usually eat in the Bay Area -- and what is actually missing in Millbrae because of the concentration of Asian food. It's also quite a high tech food truck, where you order via a giant touch screen. The folks who work the truck are nice, the only downside is that you can't eat the food right there, so it's always a bit cold by the time I get home. The food usually hits the spot, so I can only imagine if I could have it fresh off the grill! The competition between food trucks is pretty high here, so I'm not surprised by the caliber of the food at this truck. It's just such a curious location.

I've been having such terrible luck with Mexican restaurants lately, so I decided to give this food…read moretruck a try. I ordered the tostadas de ceviche, shrimp tacos, and quesabirria tacos. Based on some other reviewers claiming they were overcharged, I paid close attention to the total. In my case, I was not overcharged. The prices listed at the time of my visit were $13.75 for the tostadas de ceviche, $6 each for the shrimp tacos, and $4.50 each for the quesabirria tacos. The tax charged also appeared consistent with the expected 9.25%. Unfortunately, my experience raised some serious food-handling concerns. The first thing that caught my attention happened before I even received my food. I watched the woman who took my order step out of the food truck, walk over to a pickup truck, and retrieve something from the back. I couldn't clearly see what she was getting because she seemed to make an effort to keep it out of my view. She used her apron almost like a bag to cover whatever she had picked up before returning to the food truck. She then looked at me and smirked as she walked back inside. Almost immediately afterward, I heard her and the cook begin preparing the food, including seasoning the birria and shrimp on the grill. I obviously can't say exactly what she retrieved or how it had been stored, but seeing seafood apparently being brought in from the bed of a pickup truck was concerning. Seafood needs to be kept at proper refrigerated temperatures, and from what I could observe, I had no way of knowing whether the product had been properly temperature-controlled. Even if it was in a cooler, I would still have concerns about whether the proper temperature had been maintained. Another issue was the handling of money and food. The same person collecting payment was also preparing the food. When I paid with cash, I could see pieces of cilantro and onion still on her hands while she handled the money. Watching someone go directly from handling cash to preparing food without an apparent handwashing or glove change was disturbing and, at minimum, gave me serious concerns about sanitation. As far as the atmosphere goes, this is a food truck, so expectations should obviously be different from a traditional restaurant. The operating truck is parked on the street, while there appear to be two additional food trucks stationed on an adjacent property. That property appears to be a stationary setup rather than trucks parked along the street. There was also one picnic table with an umbrella where customers could sit and eat, which was a nice option if you want to eat there. Now, despite all of those concerns, I had paid more than $40 for the food, so I ate it, and this is where things get complicated. The ceviche was phenomenal. Honestly, I've never had ceviche this good. The flavors and textures were better than anything similar I've eaten recently. The tostadas had an excellent crunch, and the ratio of ceviche to tortilla was perfect. There was enough topping on each tostada that I could get a little bit of everything in every bite. Based strictly on the ceviche, I would absolutely return. The shrimp tacos, on the other hand, were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't particularly memorable either. The bell peppers mixed into the shrimp threw off the flavor balance for me. I think the tacos would be better without them, or at least with less of them. The quesabirria was also just okay. I've had better elsewhere, and I was charged extra for the consommé, which was something to keep in mind. So overall, I have very mixed feelings about this place. The ceviche alone was good enough that I'd want to come back, but the food-handling and sanitation concerns I witnessed would make me think twice. The food itself has some real potential, particularly the ceviche, but I'd like to see more attention paid to food handling, temperature control, and basic sanitation practices before I could feel comfortable recommending the place without reservations.

I ordered the kabuli pulao and a Coke for pickup through DoorDash, planning a tidy lunch to enjoy near the bay once I got off work. When I arrived at the food truck, the gentleman working there unfortunately informed me that the items I had just ordered were sold out. He kindly suggested an alternative of tikka kabob, which I gladly accepted. The tikka kabob was tasty and well-seasoned, delivering a satisfying depth of flavor with each bite. The rice was fragrant with softly shredded carrots and raisins, adding subtle sweetness and texture that complemented the smoky kabob nicely. A generous addition on top of my order were complimentary Watani fries, drizzled with a sauce reminiscent of a tangy chimichurri. The food truck itself sits in the same lot as the mosque in Burlingame, which is a convenient spot to park. It's also just a couple of blocks away from the bay shore as well, making the entire experience easy to fit into a pleasant outing for lunch by the water: While I initially sought kabuli pulao, the recommended tikka kabob turned out to be a great alternative. The flavors were strong, the rice provided a nice counterpoint, and the chimichurri-like sauce on the fries was a standout touch. Service was friendly and kind. Definitely open to trying the original kabuli pulao on a future trip, but I'd gladly rely on the team's thoughtful substitutions again.
