Her appointments with Dr. Shelly Wu and assistant Tiffany have gone so smoothly. Grace Dental has a wonderful team that is exceptionally skilled at working with kids, including littles who are sensory sensitive. We have had a few tooth extractions and Xrays and I have been impressed by their level of experience, attention to detail and warm bedside manner. So grateful that they are part of our care team--we highly recommend Grace Pediatric Dental!

KID FRIENDLY - knows their audience: The venue is new, bright white and clean - we started at their former location downtown and this is such a step up! The waiting area has digital distractions even though we've never had to wait past 5 minutes of our appointment times. During the appointments kids get to watch TV on the ceiling. CONVENIENT LOCATION & afternoon slots: The location is pretty convenient on the corner of Middlefield and Whipple, and they offer afternoon appointments at 430 which makes it slightly easier to make sure the kids are doing their check ups twice a year despite busy work schedules. They *do* get booked up so it's important to try to schedule after each appointment to get your early AM or late PM slots unless you're willing to risk last minute cancellations.

Got me in for a dental cleaning at the very last minute…read more My cleaning was six weeks overdue, and I was worried about a tiny stain (not really noticeable by anyone but me) that looked like a light brown spot on a tooth in the back. If it was plaque, it could calcify to become tartar and then become a cavity. Fortunately, it was just a stain and they removed it in a second. I was so relieved! So glad that they accommodated me! Squeezed me in somehow just two days after I called them!

Don't recommend Dr. Stanley Lin - Dr. Stanley Lin for any kind of dental treatment!!…read moreI recommend avoiding Dr. Stanley Lin for dental treatment! Otherwise, you take this on at your own risk. Dr. Stanley Lin would do anything, including damaging your teeth, to make huge profit! My Dental hygienist wrote down '14 - L root caries' on the clinical notes. '14 - L root caries' means a cavity on the lingual (tongue side) root surface of tooth #14. It can be done with small fillings. However, when I went to see Dr. Stanley Lin (the owner of Kifer Park Dental). He kept insisting that I needed a new crown, and it would cost $2,000. And for tooth #13, which has no cavity. He told me that if I don't get a crown for tooth #13, it may need a root canal very soon, which cost me another $2,000, totally cost is $4,000. I regret trusting his advice, but I did because he had been my dentist since 2021. However, I am old (over 50 yrs old) and my teeth was week. He should have known that I needed to avoid unnecessary dental treatment. He removed the old crown on tooth #14 and also removed the existing silver filling on tooth #13 during the same appointment. These two teeth are right next to each other. I'm older now, and I couldn't handle having both procedures done in the same appointment." But did Dr. Stanley Lin care? No. All he cared about was charging me $4,000 for new crown that it was totally unnecessary. What was the worst part? I'm older now, and my tooth was already weak. During the procedure, he fractured the root of my tooth #14. And for tooth #13, it already had a deep silver filling. He removed too much of that filling, exposing the root and causing an infection in the tooth. After the procedure, I felt intense pain in my tooth for a few days. I knew something had gone very wrong. I called Dr. Stanley Lin's office and told them that Dr. Lin might have fractured my tooth (either tooth #13 or #14). I wanted to come in to see him. Dr. Lin assured me that the pain was mainly because the crown was temporary, and that the pain would go away once he put in the permanent crown. I didn't believe him anymore. I told him that I needed to see an endodontist and get a CT scan to find out what had really gone wrong. The result was that tooth #14 was fractured, and tooth #13 had an exposed root. Besides paying Dr. Lin $4,000 for what unnecessary dental treatment, I now have to pay the endodontist over $5,000 for the root canal on tooth #13 and the procedure to treat the fractured root of tooth #14. Dr. Stanley Lin is a very greedy, and an unethical dentist!! Don't go there for dental treatment. He will do whatever he can to damage your teeth to make money out of that!

Dr Vernon Adams and Dr Dan Ponce were incredibly gentle, very experienced in dental trauma in small children, and came up with a great way to splint the teeth with no pain or anasthesia, and in just about 30 min. An immense relief for us after having had another dentist recommend general anasthesia to put in the splint! Needless to say, Dr Ponce is now my son's permanent dentist. He is kind, considerate, gentle, and patient with him and takes his time to do a thorough job. My son still loves going to the dentist, even after all this experience, which is a great testament to Dr Adams and Dr Ponce. Highly recommend this practice.

In turn, Mateo was actually looking forward to his appointment! We were treated wonderfully by the staff upon arrival, and the hygienist did an excellent job teaching Mateo how to brush & floss his teeth each day to avoid "cavity bugs". He left the office armed with his dental kit, complete with a timer to flip each time he started his routine. When we came back for our follow-up visit for Mateo's fillings, Dr. Ponce was calm & comforting in his interactions with Mateo. He showed Mateo his equipment and actually demonstrated the steps of creating a filling using a smiley face on his own thumbnail! Mateo was relaxed throughout the entire procedure due to Dr.Ponce's perfect child-friendly demeanor. We're looking forward to Mateo's next checkup when we'll bring our 1 yr. old for her first visit as well!
