This sign was the only good thing

Horrible, less than horrible , the bars , the restaurants not good service , only the place is good not the service

Super cool alley with colorful mariposas in Downtown Riverside. Little fun walk if you are in the area

What beautiful artwork covers downtown Riverside and one of their most known locations is Mariposa Alley. As you walk down the alley you are surrounded by beautiful artwork on both sides. It makes taking a stroll and their downtown area memorable.

Nice photo op in downtown redlands. But legit that's all it is, an alley. Don't expect more

The Alley was amazingly decorated! I just wish that the Restaurant that created the 3D Mural was next to or close enough to the area. Not far but not close enough for walking distance*. Me and my Boyfriend did have a great time and enjoyed the butterflies for photo opportunities here in Riverside that are creative and Outstanding in art.

Super cute spot for pictures me and my Friends took lots of Instagram worthy pictures. Usually empty.

We came here for a quick photos, although is very to find this place, you will need to drive slow because it's hidden. Well worth it because hardly no one here due to COVIDS-19. We just parked the car in the alley, don't waste your money on parking or parking meter.

Cute little alley, nice picture spot while you check out the other shops and area. Kids liked it, easy parking.

I love how Riverside randomly has art installations put up around the city. The location is easy to find based on the Yelp directions. Loved it

Full of life and ready to take off!

I've been to the RAM many times and it's a small art museum in Downtown Riverside. The Cheech…read moreMuseum is one stop light up and a larger museum. If you purchase a ticket to the Cheech, the RAM is included in your ticket price, or if you start at the RAM, the Cheech will be included that day. I came to the RAM this time around, specifically, for the 60 Miles East exhibit. This exhibit ends on 4/12, so make sure to swing by before then if you want to catch it. The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

But when they announced the 60 Miles East Punk Rock in Riverside exhibition, I knew I wasn't going to miss it. The Riverside Art Museum was originally built in 1929 as a YWCA before being bought and turned into what it is now. You walk in and admission is right there. I went on Veterans Day so I got in free. Otherwise combo tickets that get you into the Cheech the same day cost $15.95. A good deal! The 60 Miles East exhibition is in a giant room filled with flyers, posters and clothing from bands and places all over the Inland Empire. It was super cool but made me a bit sad inside because I'd been to the Showcase Theatre on many occasions and still miss it. They also have art in another part of the gallery including a Shepard Fairley original. I wasn't expecting that! Overall the Riverside Art Museum is a place I'd for sure recommend. It's not real big but since you can go to the Cheech on the same day with your ticket, it's worth the admission cost. 60 Miles East runs to mid April so don't miss it! Support the arts!

UCR ARTS is this great museum that focuses primarily upon photography. Based out of university of…read moreCalifornia, Riverside, what this museum presents is the work of very well-known photographers and other artists, as well as some of the student work. The moment you walk into the space you see that is very beautifully architecturally designed. Just near the entrance, they have a very nice spiral staircase that takes you up through the various floors where exhibitions are shown. As you walk farther back into the gallery, there you will find the lower level exhibition rooms. Moving upwards, you can get there via the aforementioned spiral staircase, or they also have a stairwell in the back, if that is your preference. Either way, you'll move through the various galleries and see some great photographs, and some other artistic works. Located right in the heart of downtown Riverside, this gallery space is very easy to find. There's parking all over the area, so that should never be a problem for you. The way admission works as this space is that you walk in, and there will more than likely be a person at the reception desk who will guide you over to the right of the facility There is the reception desk where you'll pay your fee and be given a small little badge to put on your apparel. Then, you're ready to go. Enjoy the showings. Overall, great space. Great place to view some really unique photographs and other artistic works.
