I dropped in this music store in Kokomo one Saturday and I am so glad I did. I really liked the…read morefact that these gentlemen were friendly, polite and knowledgeable and they did not talk down to me, despite me being a woman on the elderly side and probably not like their usual customers in search of a high-end acoustic guitar. This has not been my experience in some guitar shops I have visited in my 55 years of playing the guitar. I told the gentleman who assisted me that I was interested in buying a smaller-bodied acoustic guitar, most likely a Martin. He showed me several and did not rush me as I played them. He kindly answered all my questions and gave me some great information about the various models. Then he brought out a very special guitar - a Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe. The MD is a great guitar anyway, but this one in particular was stunning, with beautiful silking on the top and a gorgeous bookmatched back. When I played it and heard the sound of it, so full and resonant coming out of that small body, I just fell head over heels in love with it! Although I looked at and played a couple more, I knew that guitar was THE ONE. It cost somewhat more than I expected to spend, but this store has both layaway and several financing options, and these guys made it happen for me so that I walked out and went home with this incredible guitar. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I have owned so many guitars over the years (I couldn't even count how many) but this guitar is the love of my guitar life. I'm so glad I decided to stop in here that day. Highly recommended!!

Shown a few special electric guitars out front, then taken back to the acoustic room. Holy cow! If you like Martins and Taylor guitars, this place has a killer selection. My friend and I had been sending watches here for years. The service and quality of work had always…read morebeen very good. Recently, the number of watches that had to be returned for what appeared to be quality control issues had gone up. Frustrating to say the least. Most recently, I had a vintage Heuer chronograph serviced by Adam. After the several month turn around time, I wore the watch for several weeks with no issues observed (besides lume that was damaged during the service which I was notified about). I put the Heuer back in my watch box where it sat for months. When I took it out to use is again, the watch would run for a while and stop. Also, the chronograph hands weren't resetting correctly. I sent it back in (under the one year warranty) and Adam indicated he made some adjustments. I got it back after several weeks and it was doing the exact same thing. As I was trying to decide whether to send it back again (as we had already had numerous watches returned and were frustrated with the quality of work) the service warranty lapsed. With the watch a month out of warranty, Kokomo refused to look at watch again. Let's not forget it was having the same issue (and obviously was not fixed) as the last time it was sent in. Needless to say, I would not recommend them. If the watch means anything to you, I recommend finding another watchmaker.
