This course is a par 56, but that's ok since I wanted to work on my short irons…read more Played on a cold fall day, the course had a few wet spots from 6 days of rain--but it was still fun and playable. As a senior I did find there were a few par 3s that I couldn't reach in regulation ( anywhere from 180-200 yards) but there were some short holes to make up for that. Not bad overall for a 52 year old course. They have a bar which was open and no restaurant, unfortunately. By the way, Brett who doubled as pro shop and bartender was very nice and only charged me 39 dollars for 18 holes on a Saturday. I'm not sure if that's a winter rate! Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars and will definitely go back!

Played the front nine after completing a physical therapy stint for my back. Wanted to ease back…read moreinto golf with a short course. I walked. The greens are a little slow, but they are in pretty good shape. I think everyone who plays here for the most part is a hacker and so they miss the green and there aren't a lot of bone marks which is a good thing. The Fairways aren't bad either though they are very narrow. If you hit the fairways or green you're okay. But if you miss, there are some very tough lies. Not a lot of grass in the rough. Even some of the tee boxes are in tough shape. I missed the 5th grain by 3 ft and had a horrible lie with rocks and roots and I probably just should have moved it but I didn't know what the local rule was. I ended up duffing the chip and losing some strokes because of it. Sure I'm not a great golfer, but I would have preferred being in thick, deep rough over what I had. The pro in the pro shop was very nice. He checked me in. I found this place on golf now, but I actually called to make my tee time. $23 for nine seems reasonable these days.

I got married here on July 8, 2017 and it was a dream come true. I cannot ask for a better venue,…read moreteam or food. Andy and Frank made the day seamless and it was nothing short of Perfection. The view was amazing, the day was perfect and it just flowed like a well orchestrated event. Andy and Frank took the stress away before and on the day of the wedding. They respond to emails within a day if not the same day and are just as professional as they come. if I were to do it all over again, I would choose The Brookside .over and over again. I am just sooo elated I made the right call by selecting Brookside as my they made our wedding dreams come true. Anna & Erik

I made a tee time here last week by going to their website. I was directed to a page that said the…read morerate shown was inclusive of a $2.49 fee. Inclusive means includes. I got a confirmation email saying the fee was $115 per person for a total of $230. My credit card says they charged me $233 for my 2some. I got another charge of $4.98 from Golfnow. So now my $230 for 2 jumped to $237.98 in total. You might think it's only $7.98 more (or $3.99 per person). Add that $3.99 per person all golf season long and that amounts to a number worthy of a class action lawsuit. I called them. The guy in the pro shop was very polite and he told me that he's worked here for a long time and I'm the first to ever call and inquire. Maybe the next call for me will come from someone else? very disappointing as I feel like I was "bait and switched"....
