I will say, in regards to this office, that over 4 1/2 years, I only spoke with MY agent 2 times, the rest of the time I had to deal with her rude and inept support staff. there was maybe 1 person in the office named Amanda or Andrea, (not sure which) who was friendly and helpful. But one out of I'm guessing 8 employees in this office being pleasant is pretty pathetic. My major beef with American Family came when I was involved in the first accident I'd had in 12 years, which I was not at fault for, I had been paying ridiculous premiums for 4 1/2 years, and thanks to the accident, I now need a spinal fusion surgery because one of the disc in my lower back is completely destroyed and my vertabrae are grinding against each other because there is no disc left. The at fault driver had bare bone, liability insurance through state farm. Only the minimum amount required by the laws in Nevada. His insurance company paid up the max on his policy within 8 weeks of the accident, my lawyer had to battle with American Family for almost 2 years. I had great coverage, collision, comprehensive, bodily injury, underinsured driver, etc. You name it, I had it. These jerks ended up offering $5K for medical payments, and $4K for the underinsured policy, when the maximum I should have in theory been able to receive wuld have been close to $75K...My medical bills and attorney's fees left my with a whopping $5k. I still have to see a pain management Dr every month because I am in constant, excruciating pain, and I still have to figure out a way to come up with the $ to pay for this surgery...American family doesn't give a crap about their clients, I have paid them more in premiums than the paid me to "help" in my situation. I am thoroughly disgusted by this company, and advise everyone to not do business with these heartless money grubbing jerks, and if you are unfortunate enough to be covered by them now, please change companies before you get hurt and have to file a claim, because these guys are NOT out to help you.
