I really want to love this practice. I've had multiple joint issues treated here, including a…read moresuccessful ankle surgery in 2019, and at that time the care and follow-up access were excellent. Unfortunately, my more recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. Last year, while being treated for two broken pinkies, the X-ray manipulation was very painful and, in my opinion, premature. I now have permanently bent pinkies and deeply regret not declining those X-rays. Four weeks ago, I had foot surgery here. The surgery center's billing department was frustrating to work with and provided inconsistent information about what could and couldn't be billed together. On the day of surgery, patients were asked to arrive very early only to wait over an hour. After providing a urine sample, I was left standing in the hallway while staff walked past without assistance until I sought help myself. Most concerning is the lack of post-operative support. This past week I've experienced severe pain around the surgical screws and have been unable to reach a live person despite multiple messages. After paying over $10,000 for this procedure, the fact that I may need to go to the ER because I can't get a callback is unacceptable. Based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend this practice.

ER care was spot on. Prompt care and attention both times (two days apart)…read more Nurses were attentive and caring especially with the catheter. Under the best it can be a difficult procedure to endure. Nurse Trina N. was the best. So respectful, understanding and caring while dealing with my husband who was experiencing incredible pain. We were blessed to have Trina twice! Surgery to remove a clot went well. Over night stay in was as good as a stay could be. All nurses were fab. Kept my husband well informed on his care.

Emergency Room is Great. ‼ DO NOT give Birth here…read more They will literally try to control EVERY single aspect of your Birth and Delivery Process. The birthing staff was fantastic. The Postpartum Staff were Terrible. Only Great staff besides Dr. Lilly and Dr. Pause/Paws (however you spell it) are Blanche, and Angie. Oh, and the Social Worker. The Hospital Social Worker, Jessica, did her job so well, with Providing Skills and Resources. She went above and beyond. The One Lactation Consultant was also Very Helpful. Amanda was her Name. Honestly. I have pushed out FOUR Beautiful Babies. I know a little about how to push when delivering. I've Breastfed ALL of my Children. I don't need Random Strangers grabbing my breasts, and 6 eyeballs staring at me... and putting unnecessary pressure on me while I'm trying to do one of the most challenging things a mother can with her newborn. Honestly Ruined my First Moments with my Daughter. Literally had multiple mental breakdowns while I was there- from staff constantly entering and leaving, telling me what to do, how to do it, when to do it. Every time I'd go to sleep, I swear 20 minutes after... they would come in and wake you up. I was there 5 days. I got MAYBE 10 hours of sleep over the course of that time. It was like a Mental Torture Chamber. Overall, HIGHLY Stressful. Highly Emotional, SUPER distressing and Very Overbearing. Would NOT recommend.

What do you say about physical therapy? It's the hard part of the surgery (or should I say…read morepost-surgery) experience. Yet the therapists at Covenant Therapy Center are the best. Phil, Jennifer and Haley have done their best to make PT a pleasure with their care, know-how and friendliness. Even the PT assistant, energetic and enthusiastic Jessica, adds her cheer to each session. The front office ladies are mostly business, yet one of these employees greets me by name most days even before I check in. What more can I ask except to fully recover and no longer have need to return.

Convenience is often…read morekey when a medical appointment is 2-3 times per week and my schedule is ridiculously chaotic. I will start off with the most notable point. Front desk staff. I'm not sure it is ever best to engage with a NEW patient by not saying hello or welcoming them in any form but instead asking for an insurance card and handing paperwork through a window. I brushed that off. Thought, meh, I'm first on the docket for the day, they haven't had enough coffee, and breakfast was a stale bagel but then a guy walked in about 5 minutes after me and he got a Hello, how are you? and some light chit chat. So did the couple that came in after him. Also, calling out to the therapist that their next appointment is here, over a loud speaker, had me thinking, for a moment, that I was in a fast food restaurant or a baseball game. Nope, I was in a doctor's office. My therapist was Whitney. She rocked! Friendly and kind and knowledgeable and patient not to mention respectful. I walked into my physical therapy appointment, for my foot, with a skirt on. Yes, I did. I did not wear my "yoga pants" on this date but should have. Whitney made sure I kept my dignity intact! She really is a great therapist. One I would recommend requesting. However, when you go, bring the front desk some Krispy Kreme's and a bouquet of flowers...they need some cheering up!
