Waiting 25 minutes for a single burger is beyond embarrassing -- it's unacceptable. If this is how long it takes, it honestly shouldn't even be on the menu. Staff tried blaming it on being "busy," which is laughable considering there were only three customers waiting and around six people in the kitchen. To make matters worse, the burger itself was absolutely disgusting. It was drowned in so much sauce that it completely ruined the meal -- sloppy, inedible, and careless. This was hands down one of the worst burgers I've ever been served. A real shame, but more than that, a complete failure. read more

we ordered two cod and chips to be delivered. Delivery was fine but as soon as the box was opened it was obvious whoever cooked the cod had forgotten to take it out of the oil in time. It was so overcooked it was inedible. fish and chips these days is very expensive which becomes even more so when it goes in the bin because you can't eat it. read more

I love this place. Food is loverly, staff loverly, everything is loverly. The meal deals are reasonably priced, £12 for a two course meal (Starter Or Desert, + main) Inside is like a rustic pub, wooden tables and chairs, with marina themed artefacts on the walls Only flaw is it has a tiny car park. read more

Haven't eaten here since last year. But yes good fish and chips - take away and sit down. Friendly staff. You can have your fish without batter (grilled if I remember) - last time I went I had plaice and it was very good with a salad... so not really fish and chips but my friend had the Haddock and chips - and was beaming like a Cheshire cat so that's a good sign. Highly recommend this place. Went as a party of four without booking on a Friday evening and although they were quite busy, they found us a table. Two of us went for a large Cod and chips. The other two went for the mixed grill. I wouldn't usually order meat at a place that primarily serves seafood, but their meal looked amazing and there was certainly no complaints! The Cod and chips was also so so good. A large portion was ENORMOUS - but really great quality! I'm pretty sure the staff would be be happy for you to take it home. Staff were lovely and attentive, old school décor that is keeping with the feel of the place. After reading good reviews about Marino,s, I decided to give it a try when I visited Sittingbourne last week. Both me and my partner really enjoyed the fish and chip meal in the restaurant, Served with lovely crusty bread and a pot of tea to wash it down. Fish and chip fan's should come here if you hav'nt already. This place has a lovely restaurant next door to the actual fish shop. The staff are very friendly and the food itself is very nice indeed. Most fish shops fail to produce decent chips but, these come out on top and everything including the chips is fresh. Price-wise Marino's is very reasonable and worth every penny in my opinion. read more

Excellent fish and chips. Have never actually eaten in restaurant but looks clean and tidy. Take away food from there is lovely and good value and you can phone up and order then pick up to save time. Friendly service, sometimes long wait but thats because its cooked fresh. Always Good Food on the Takeaway,but can be a bit frustrating with some (not all) the staff on the takeaway bit sometimes look like they don't have a clue which can lead to increased waiting times,but overall good..haven't had any bad food there always Hot..and tastes good too. read more

Food is good, don't bother eating in the restaurant itself though because the service is beyond poor.
