Every time we stay here, we are blown away by the personalized service that they provide and the friendliness of the staff. This time, by mistake, I actually made my reservation for the wrong weekend and when I arrived, they provided me a slip anyway. They also changed the reservation for me so that I did not have to. First class marina, first class facilities, clean bath houses, beautiful pool, great staff, and by far the best view at any marina in Rock Hall. We will be back again later this season or next year for sure. Thank you North Point Marina!

My favorite part about this place are the kind people who keep it running. Lori is now the former owner and manager of the marina but still is on site making sure everything runs smoothly. She made sure there were donuts/muffins and coffee for everyone in the mornings. The pool is often crowded especially on the weekends but it always feels nice after a hot day in the sun. Keep in mind there is no lifeguard but the pool is not that deep and it is small. The bathrooms are equipped with showers and have always been super clean. They even have feminine products out in the ladies room which I think is very kind. I love this marina and highly recommend it! It's also just a quick walk away from Harbor Shack which is a fun summer bar with food and drinks!

There's no elevator though so getting to the rooms might be hard if you're wheelchair bound or have bad lungs. The property overall is nice. So glad that I came and look forward to other dining festivities that may be held. Please give the director all the kudos possible. Two times can easily be three/ late evening 4/5p serving...for Thanksgiving I'd def come back. It was so well organized cannot wait to share with coworkers and other friends in the area. * ample food selection * attentive staff * every time I saw a drop food on the floor or table, when I looked again it was gone - GIVE THE SERVERS A PRIZE PLEASE * check in was well paced, allowed tables to slowly begin getting food, I came at 10:45a for the 11a seating * anytime a dish was running low, I saw it being replaced. * none of the stations were ever unmanned * available condiments for every food, thank you. I even saw hot sauce!! * the tablecloths and decorations were done so well, please give the person who decorated kudos...the eggs with candy on the tables really showed yall care!! * I appreciated the stations for dirty dishes placed on the side, at doors. I used them several times to place our tables dirty plates. * servers were always walking around either cleaning helping replenish or simply moving along. No one was ever just standing around. * appreciated the music selection, and the volume was PERFECT...low enough to hear but not drown out voice conversations. * perfect LIGHTING too, no weird artificial lights, loved the setting VERY well done. SO well organized. I don't drink so I hope the bar was just as well done. I needed ice and the bartenders were very helpful. * they could use more dishes/plateware & silverware, logistics issue :) ...at least 3x I had to get a plate from the omelette station :( 10/10 experience overall!!! Thank you for holding this and please commend the staff - so professional!!! I loved the "Kent Island Resort Easter Brunch" Best, TLW

They do a great job making a historic property feel modern with ample outlets and usb ports, a very comfortable bed, and a mini fridge we used to store leftovers and beer. The TVs also have more channels than we ever have had in a hotel but rarely used given all the fun stuff in Annapolis. They also make the hotel accessible with elevators and wheelchair accessible rooms. The staff was also wonderful and accommodated us well by storing our belongings after checkout while we explored the State House on the 5th. We love how much is in a very short walking distance to here. Parking may be expensive but for car free people this is quite easy with commuter busses from DC and Baltimore, local Flixbus from DC and New York, local busses around the clock from Baltimore Light Rail's Cromwell station, as well as ample Ubers and Lyfts that may be cheaper than parking and no need to go past walking distance.

The location is incredibly accessible to the best parts of historic Annapolis. I was on the phone recommending to friends and family less than 10 minutes after our departure. Thank you Ann and Tom. The historic aspects of the Inn are outstanding. The cleanliness is on point. Until my last visit, I would have sworn I'd stay there every opportunity I had. The only consistent complaint I have in all four visits was the AC either stopped working completely (requiring multiple engineer visits but the plus was complimentary wine) or was near broken and not cooling predictably. Other than that, this place was like my dream home away from home. However, there has been a significant drop in service by the front desk and reservation staff starting in fall of 2025 which has accelerated in spring of 2026. Over a four night stay in May, three mornings there was either no sugar, cream or coffee available during reasonable coffee times (7:30am) and I had to go to the desk to request restock. Also, someone reported to the front desk that a large roach was in the men's lobby restroom sink...the women at the front desk (also day shift) laughed and said they weren't dealing with it. These same employees made fun of some visitors who accidentally came to the wrong business by mimicking them after they left. I've received a few emails promoting an incentive for a return visit, but it has "?errors" all over it even when I open in different browsers. When I call about what it entails, I am told they don't know. And that's if I can get them to answer the phone. I've tried emailing and have received no reply after more than a week. Regretfully, I've booked another Inn for my next visit...I truly enjoyed most of my stays at the Governor Calvert House, but I don't like the direction its service has headed and it's too much money to spend for poor service. THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO HOUSEKEEPING OR THE NIGHT SHIFT EMPLOYEES-they continued to be outstanding.

However, the windowsills and shades are caked in dust. A bit disappointing especially since we stayed in the pure wellness room which is supposed to be allergen friendly and with an air purification system. The furniture with outlets basically all do not work, making it harder to find places to charge anything. The window by the bathroom is broken and was taped back together with painters tape. The bathroom wallpaper was coming off the walls and the shower curtain was falling out of the wall. We tried to twist it back up in place but the wallpaper and wall where it is screwed in appears pulled away from the wall and needs more serious repair. Lastly, $50 per day for valet when there are basically no other parking options is pretty steep and they don't openly share the cost upon check in... just beware of the cost in case you want to make alternate arrangements! If they took a little more care to clean less trafficked areas and ensure things are repaired and in working condition prior to guests staying in the room, this would be a really awesome place to stay.
