The only thing with Premiers is that they seem to be in two standards thou they are all 4*. Thou both of the standards are good and like I said I am always happy staying here, the difference is that the better standard is a more recently modernised room than the slightly lower standard. The Hartlepool Marina Premier is the slightly lower standard. The views from this hotel are spectacular as it is based right on the marina with the boats sat on both sides to the hotel. Location is only 5minutes walk from Church Street what is the start of town where you can find restaurants, pubs and clubs. I would stay here again.

Service was prompt. Rooms are refurbished and full of character. Check out the stained glass window on the main staircase. We asked for a champagne bucket and glasses in our room - no problem. Neither was the excellent sandwiches and gravy boat in the early hours once we headed back (all danced out) after a great night. The dancefloor was just fast enough and service at the bar was efficient too. Breakfast was tasty and enough to eat though we were a tad delicate and couldn't do it justice - our loss! All in all another great stay.

The decor is along the Irish Bar theme but very tasteful and the whole place has a fabulous atmosphere at any time of the day or night. O'Gradys restaurant is to die for! Their Sunday lunches are divine and only £7.95 for three courses. Delicious home-cooked Yorkshire puds with a choice of three meats and plenty of fresh vegetables. This can be served in the bar at any time but the restaurant is much nicer - you need to book though. O'Gradys has some great live music and it's worth keeping an eye out for when bands are playing there. It does get quite packed though so go early and get a seat. Drinks are competitively priced and the bar staff are very helpfuland friendly.
