The caravans are lovely and have a real homely feel to them, not just your average camping trip! Definitely recommended!!

Went camping on this site for a break,it is a great camping site the facilities are clean and well…read moremaintained,very well organised with security onsite great clean shower facilites, washing and waste disposal also electric hook up,a enclosed dog walking area that was also well kept,everyone was so friendly,ready to help each other out with any problems,the site allows families only, so helps with any boistrous behaviour however we did have some noise from a group of teenagers for about a hour,which although a nuisance i have had more problems staying at some more expensive hotels in spain with this,so was quite happy with my stay and will certainly go camping here again i enjoyed it. (email me to book - WinkupsWales@gmail.com) it has a great clubhouse with nice friendly staff and the entertainment is excellent, really knows how to get the crowd going and she has a brilliant singing voice! the xfactor finalist is also there tonight! The park has everything you need including a big store, amusements with two lane bowling, guitar hero's :-), fish & chip shop, cafe, kids club, park, swimming pool is being built, and if that is not enough just across the road is a fun fair and Tir Prince racecourse which also holds a market 4 days a week which is huge! the beach is over the footbridge and a bus stop to go in either direction depending on what you like..hustle bustle, shops and quaint cafes or cycling,horse riding, windsurfing, clay pigeon, golf, countryside etc it really does have it all!!! it is also a really enjoyable and cheap holiday especially if there are a few of you or going as a family....the funfair is only £55 for the week unlimited use! Dirty carpets dirty toilets. I did complain when I was there but they did nothing and still not answering my calls or emails. We all stayed in Chalets, my parents had a standard 4 berth chalet - it was absolutley tiny! They had 2 single beds which did not seem to be full size singles with springs sticking out so they stopped on the sofa bed which was very hard. There was a very small kitchen which was filthy and in desperate need of modernisation. Myself, my husband and my son stayed in a Large 6 Berth chalet. This was very spacious and quite clean, we had 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and a single in. Both chalets had electric meters in and I was shocked to discover that we had to buy a £5 card even though we were only staying for the weekend (there was about £3 left on the meter when we came home). The site is obviously well used and quite clean although there is broken glass in most of the public outside areas. We did not eat out on the site so can not comment on the food. The beach is only a short walk away. The baby Leos area was lovely and it was clean but there were no chairs for adults to sit and the two drinks machines were both out of order. The swimming pool area was really lovely and it was very clean as were the changing rooms. My son absolutely loved the pool and the animals in it. There is a very well stocked shop on the site and the prices aren't bad. The staff seem friendly and helpful and overall we had a nice weekend (my parents spent most of their time at our Chalet)

Oakfields holiday park, Kinmel bay near Rhyl North Wales, we stayed here for the first time ever…read morethis year and we had a fantastic weeks holiday, we were treated as if we had been going there for years, everything was shown to us nothing was too much trouble and if there was a problem it was sorted within 15 minutes, other neighbours on the camp were very polite and at night it was lovely and quiet, the club was open although we did'nt use it and there is a small entrance fee, during the day there is a cafe and a small amusement arcade if you are staying on the camp
