The park is situated RIGHT on the beach at Victor, scattered with shady trees, and has a good mix of spots for camping, van spaces, permanents and cabins. An overhaul in the past year has seen toilet and shower facilities upgraded, a huge bouncy pillow for the kids to play on, a pool, a series of new cabins put in with ensuite facilites, and two new camp kitchens for campers to utilise. Sites can be hard to get if you haven't booked well ahead for Christmas, Easter, and the big long weekends, but if they can fit you in, they will. Victor Harbor itself is a lovely little town, with great food options, penguins and a scenic 'granite' island, lots of lovely nature walks, and whale watching nearby in the season. There's a posted rate on a board out the front for the cabins, subject to availability, if you happen to be at Victor looking for accomodation, it's well worth checking to see if you can save a few bucks.

This is a pretty cool caravan park with plenty to entertain the kids so you can really enjoy your holidays! They have had the most beautiful swimming pool put in. Plus there's a playground, one of those HUGE jumping pillows a lot of caravan parks have nowadays (and my children's favourite activity - which makes it mine too because it burns off a lot of their energy), a tv/games room (but by games I don;t just mean PS or XBox, they actually have real arcade games in here) and free wireless internet access (handy if you also have teenagers that cannot live without online access)! It was only a short walk from were we'd be staying if we were at home, and it has the perfect spot on the beachfront. Recently my sister and her kids stayed here for a week, so I got the chance to experience it all over again. I think it says a lot when I get informed that they've started referring to it as the 'no-fun park'. Not a good indicator of a family holiday spot. It's mostly down to the fact that kids can't ride their bikes or really do much of anything around the cabins. I'm sure it's to keep noise down, but surely during the day a few kids having fun isn't going to be too harmful. The cabins are by no means luxurious, but they have everything you need. The park also has plenty of other facilities including a playground or tennis court if you do want to try and have some fun. The playground is mainly designed for younger children, but it's a blessing because the Moana Beach playground next door has to be one of the weirdest ones around. My favourite part would have to be checking out the awesome RVs that take up spots around the caravan park, who knew they could get that big! It's a fantastic location for enjoying Moana Beach during the Summer, maybe they just need to lighten up a little.

The pool had broken tiles and even missing the cover plates on the ground. The gutters were falling down and there was rust everywhere. In the morning I travelled to the gym. Both treadmills were slipping and completely unusable. The kids swimming pool was dirty. My son jumped in and clouds of dirt spawned all around him. This is the beginning of summer too, it's not like it's winter. I didn't try the spa, wasn't adventurous enough. One of the storm water grills near the pool was rusted through with sharp rusted metal 1m from the pool. Seriously if my son fell in there it would be an immediate trip to the hospital for a tetnis shot.
