Her love for the ocean and the wildlife in it is infectious! She and the captain made sure that we all got the chance to enjoy a truly magical experience. I had originally booked for Nov, 4 weeks into the usual season, but this year the government held season up for 6 weeks, so I had to reschedule further down the calendar by 2 months to make sure season would be going. Anna and the team were very communicative during that whole time. Even the first day of my rescheduled trip was cancelled due to high winds, but once again Anna was very communicative and refunded that day immediately. Luckily, the second day was a GO and I finally got to meet Anna and the crew of Angel and Pachito were just excellent the whole day; Angel is part fish because he just kept swimming and swimming and swimming along with the whale shark, while we all gassed out and swapped groups. I whole-heartedly recommend them for your Whale Shark experience or anything that they offer because they're an excellent operation.

Our two guides were delightful, and very knowledgeable about the biology, geology, and history of the region. You can bring your own wetwear and snorkeling gear (some type of neoprene wetsuit is best; 1.5 - 2mm was appropriate for the weather and water temp on our visit, you might need 3mm at the coldest part of the year), or rent a wetsuit (quite cheaply) and borrow a snorkel and mask for free.

What makes this trip unique is that Alan is a genuine Marine Biologist who has a true love of the ocean and all its life that it offers. We left the pier around 10am. It took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive at the SeaLion rookery cause along the way they stop and show you local bird life and other points of interest. The SeaLion area is amazing. The sights and sounds of the beautiful animals in there native habitat is humbling. THAN you get to snorkel up close and they are very playful. Like puppies. One even kissed my wrist. About 45 minutes there. After we motor to a private beach where they spread out a tasty lunch(Homemade Ceviche!). After lunch, an hour of snorkelling in a protected cove. We had time to stop at a deeper cove to freedive for about 15 mins. Than the ride back to the dock. I have heard said many times that if you love what you do for a living, it's not a job. I really witnessed that today with Alberto and Alan. Just a GREAT tour that I won't ever forget. Just a word of caution, the area where the SeaLions reside had a very strong undercurrent today. I had to really kick with flippers a little bit to get away from boat. I was told this is unusual for this area. With a life vest on, It wasn't that big of a deal, but You should be ready for it. I can't wait to come back next year to swim with Whale Sharks. It will definitely be with Alan and Alberto.

Please find the following list of services not granted by your unprepared company: I.- We lost 4:30 hours sailing to the SeaWolves nest as agreed, just to learn that you "forgot" to pay authorities fees to swim there. So our group was NOT allowed to snorkel there by the mexican authorities of SEMARNAT-PROFEPA, since you did not pay and provide the bracelets required to do so!!! II.-AT SOME POINT AT THE SEA DIESEL SMOG was entering the kitchen vessel, fortunatelly nobody resulted injured with the Diesel smog into the cabin vessel... III.- Even though you offer "sea toys", No Kayak,No Paddleboard, No Snorquelling devices were in the boat. III.- There was no crew or service, just the Captain Luis Abaroa and his 12 year old son (against all laws and regulations applicable for charter boats). For 90 days I expected an economic solution from your Fraud. That wont happen!!! Stop the Fraud @YachtsMx now!!!!

We had planned a day charter that included 1 vegetarian. We discussed at least two stops to include snorkeling. We spoke with Carlos just prior to departure and he confirmed the itinerary. While we had a nice cruise, we only stopped once and no snorkeling. When we asked, the crew stated they were never told of any specific asks. Don't get me started on the food! The pictures on FB to no represent actual reality. It shows fresh fruit plates, ceviche, sashimi and other dished. We asked for vegetarian food and we got one bowl of guacamole. No tacos only ceviche. We have taken several other charters out of La Paz (for the same price) that included a chef preparing fresh meals to include fish tacos, ceviche, bean and cheese quesadillas, and fruit platters. This was definitely wanting. We brought our issues to Carlos his only response was his team did everything promised, which was not a true statement. I would have rated 1 but the crew tried so hard and any day at sea is terrific. Lots of other yachts to choose from in the future!

Our guide was very nice and consistently managed all the details. They have nice busses with toilet I'm told. We were not cancelled even tho there were just 4 of us. We had a new van - very comfortable with movies while traveling to Mag Bay. The trip is $116usd per person and includes potty stops and a breakfast before the whale watching and a dinner after. Not gourmet. But considering the price of the tour very acceptable. And we saw whales. The whale watching is really nice. Also there are shore birds and I think if you let the boat driver know in advance that you would like to go slowly by them, he can allow time for bird watching. For the most part the restrooms were clean. I advise taking your own TP and handi-wipes one never knows when one will need them. Potty breaks at Mag Bay are 5 pesos and the restrooms are supplied with TP but not all soap dispensers were functioning. And lots of shops to buy souvenirs. We might do it again next year. thank you Choya tours for a job well done!

They don't care as long as they take your money and once you get there they just say "Oops, it's nature's fault". No, it's your greedy company's fault. Steer clear and choose are more respectable tour company.
