They even have a class called little feet for 2 and 3 year old beginners as well as my son's favorite, Hip Hop Ninja. This fantastic studio was started by Novato local, Tara Caprice Broadwater, who is absolutely spectacular. To say she is a pillar of the community would be an understatement of gigantic proportions. She is high energy, super friendly, animated and dedicated to her craft and her kiddos. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is getting the moves and is included. No boy or girl left behind. Even better she is super active in our Novato community. If our town is having a block party, school activity and/or celebration Love2dance is always front and center participating. They are fabulous performers. They perform At the Marin civic center for their mid year performance as well as the all star team who travels to compete far and wide. But hold your horses, I haven't even gotten to the best part! They host birthday parties! Yes, you heard me. Let me shout it from the rooftops. THEY HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES! Let me first to vouch that they host the most spectacular parties. They offer a wide variety of themes. Whether you have a princess lover, Jojo Siwa super fan, trolls the movie, Moana singer, cars fanatic, they have about 12 different themes to choose from. And if they don't have a specific need, they also can host with a Happy Birthday theme so that you can custom it as needed. Whether you are inviting ten of your closest friends or family or 30, they have different size studios. You can opt to have a bounce obstacle course or not. Let me say that I've attended at least twenty birthday parties at love2dance over the past four years, and not one has been the same. I wouldn't even say they were similar. The theme, teachers and different activities they offer make each party it's very own celebration. We even attended two love2dance parties in one day, and we were thrilled that they felt completely different. The teachers they have host the parties are kind, talented, engaging and just amazing at keep the kiddos entertained. They take the time to learn all the children's names, which to me is unbelievable. They play fun games like freeze dance, stop on the colored dot (think musical chairs), limbo, Duck, Duck goose and four corners. They often learn a fun little dance routine and really take care of every detail. They make the parties stress free for the parents. They decorate the space, provide plates, napkins and utensils and clean up after the party. Words cannot begin to tell you how much we loved hosting our party at Love2dance. You can tell the teachers really love their jobs, and unlike some studios, the admin (Megan) is super kind, clear and helpful in all studio communications! I seriously don't know what my family would have done without Rhythms during the shut-down--the relationships my kid had with her teachers kept her GOING!! I only wish it were closer to my house. I've tried classes in several places in the Bay Area, and I have to say Nancy's instruction is by far the best you will ever find in Marin, if you want to learn classical ballet technique as an adult beginner. I have tried them all, classes in the city, other parts of Marin. Her teaching style is very approachable and down to earth. The class atmosphere is friendly and non-intimidating. Nancy offers clear instructions at every level from beginners to advanced. No dancer is left behind in the dust. She explains everything and corrects everyone. Her classes offer a good cardio workout, builds strength and gives you the "ballet body", lengthening and toning your muscles. You'll be sweating at the end of each class. Dress code, anything goes, as long as your feet and ankles are visible. If you like wearing the gear, you'll feel at home joining the Yumiko leotard brigade, in every color under the sun. But if you just want to wear whatever leggings and t-shirt, that is fine, too. There's no pressure. The drive up to the school off the freeway takes you past verdant pastures of cows and open countryside. The school is located in a stunning original 19th century cloistered campus, anchored by a beautiful chapel. The studios are varied, but beginners are usually in smaller studios (great for inspiring high grand jétés) and the intermediate to advanced are in the larger, airy studios, each with romantic views of the beautiful original architecture of St Vincent's campus and the green pastures beyond. It's no wonder your worries evaporate as soon as you are in class. I joined her beginner pointe classes recently, as a complete beginner en pointe. In her enthusiastic manner, Nancy gives very concise instruction and inspires confidence for those learning pointe work for the first time, starting in mid-life. The MDT Adult-Teen program is a great place for adults to learn the basics, as well as for more serious students who hope to graduate on to pointe for their very first time as a mature student. Really, really nice place. Definitely a higher end gym. The young woman who is the manager there (Citlali) was really wonderful and sweet. She was amazing. She gave me a tour of the gym, told me about the things the gym offered and went over membership options and pricing. She was really helpful and understanding and patient with me. I did not sign up for a membership that day only because i could not afford the full sign up fee and i did not want to receive any discount. When i went back 2 weeks later to get signed up, i was helped by the same great manager and the sign up process was as simple, easy and convenient as i could ever hope for. My experiences both times at this Anytime Fitness were ideal and i really appreciate the woman that helped me.

I was a member here for a few years and because of relocation I needed to cancel my account. I did…read moreso and forgot about it. I checked my account and turns out they were still charging me every month for almost 2 years. I stopped at the office to find out why. Their response was the charge on my card did not go through this voiding my cancellation. I went to my bank and printed out statements for that month showing more then efficient funds on that Card so there's no reason why it shouldn't have gone through. They have refused to give me a refund. Unacceptable business practices. A legitimate business would and should give a refund.

My daughter has been with SingOut Theater throughout this entire year. She auditioned in to the…read morekids competition and performed 'Junglebook' with her team in Sacramento. An intense, exciting time! They won an award for choreography at JTF West! She also did Triple Threat and High school Musical this summer. So to say the least, We Are FANs! We feel so lucky to have Chelsea teaching our daughter! A lovely personality and mentor, a highly skilled dancer and choreographer, a patient and kind Director. The Music Director Kevin warmly and patiently builds the student's musical understanding and performances. His contribution keeps musical standards high and performances enjoyable. The Business Director/Producer Rachel adds the no nonsense behind the scenes taking care of business ballast for all this creativity. We are grateful for her expertise to keep SingOut thriving. My daughter is attending a performing arts school in the fall. We will still be attending Tue/Thurs Musical Theater at SingOut. It is top notch and she loves it!

Originally named DLOC in 1959 when they formed a company performing Gilbert & Sullivan Light Operas. Eventually they changed the name to Diablo Theater Co. They had a youth program called STARS 2000, which continues to this day to operate. Diablo Theater Co. that use to produce large scale Musicals & Light Opera productions at the Lesher Center For The Arts in Walnut Creek, is no longer in business. STARS 2000 continues as their own company. There is no other youth program that is under the auspices of the Diablo Theater Co. and in fact their studios were sold and are under the ownership of Performing Arts Academy.
