I got a small bag of taffy, maybe 25 pieces, and it was priced by the piece rather than the pound. I paid just over $2 for my sticky haul. There is also a selection of shirts and gifts that were nice, and they have a rack of rental bikes out front. If you're going to rent a bike, Missy Magoo's is probably the closest to the ferry dock to get that business!

First time Yelp reviewer here! Deserves a few minutes of my time…read more.. I was at Buyers Fair with some family members recently. A cute, pink cami caught my attention. My sister-in-law said, "why don't your bargain with them?" I know that people do this kind of thing all the time but I have never tried it, so I thought... why not?! I asked the very friendly clerk if she would take the price I was offering to pay (only a few dollars less). She needed to check with her manager. After doing so, the manager actually yelled across the room (with zero tact), "why would I do that? I sell 50 of these a week?!" His tone was dripping with condescension... completely unnecessary. His goal was clearly to embarrass me. I really felt the situation could have been handled in a much more civilized manner. The only person he successfully embarrassed was his poor store clerk. "F" for customer service Mr. Manager.

Great place for gifts, for summer clothes, shoes, and other boating supplies. The staff is always friendly, and we are happy to support an alternative to Target or K-Mart in the area. We haven't found their prices outrageous at all, but yes they do sell higher end brands, so they are not always really cheap. Great place.
