Dr. Angell entered the exam room, and the first thing he did was apologize for the wait, but honestly it's the weekend, and it IS urgent care, so wait times are expected. The whole appointment, start to finish, was fantastic. Dr. Angell was professional, patient, and explained everything well. And when I did get my initial physical I had about 5 or so referrals recommended by the doc and I was told I'd get the referrals sent through the mail... waited several months and nothing was ever sent. My teenage son, who sadly will outgrow pediatrics in a couple years, really likes Dr. Padilla. Says "he's cool". I think it's important for your kids to actually like and feel comfortable with their pediatrician. Dr. Padilla is very easy going and easy to talk to. He actually conversates with your kid to get to know them better and help them feel a little more relaxed during exams. He's humorous but also very thorough with his diagnosis and explains it to my son like he's an adult but in a way that my son understands. Highly recommend him if he's still accepting new patients.
