Those of us who know him can honestly say that he is as subtle as a freight train, but has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. Many of the people who have written negative reviews get taken aback by the bold statements that Dr. Garcia makes about the causes of their disease. Although abrupt in nature, they are supported by psychological research as well as Dr. Garcia's years of experience working with patients. It is important to know that in many cases Dr. Garcia is the last hope for some people so time is not necessary on his side. He needs to cut through the BS and get straight to the point in order to truely help those that come to him. The facility is warm and inviting and not what you would expect from a typical cancer center. There are no individual treatment rooms as Dr. Garcia encourages his patients to talk with each other, learn from each other, and heal with each other.
