They have rooms to stay and a Bavarian restaurant with an outdoor biergarten. It's very peaceful and quiet here and of course if you don't speak German then you probably will struggle. The menu is only in German. The waitresses were less friendly than I expected and barely smiled at us. The menu was extensive and included all the standard Bavarian dishes and seasonal items. I had the Bauernente (duck) which came with a salad, red cabbage and Kartofflekanodle. The duck was brilliantly cooked and the meat just fell off the bone and was moist and tender. The salad was really good and was not drowned in dressing. The knodle was moist stodgy and tasty. All in all a fabulous meal :-) Happily come back here again for a Bavarian countryside dining experience.

I had dinner in their small restaurant located within the house. Very comfortable and quaint, with great food at extremely reasonable prices. A short 15 minute walk through a beautiful walking path with flowers and trees and you are downtown. Great deal!!! Would highly recommend!!!

Other changes have converted this into another go-to place in Heilbrunn. They're now a Mecca for good wine, with a wine list that would make a Munich establishment proud. Decor too is still rustic, but upscale. Love the touch of up-cycled teacups for light fixtures. All while feeling like you're in a centuries-old Bavarian pub. And the food! I got the sirloin. Oh. My. Soo good. I was born and raised in Texas. Texas steakhouses would have trouble competing with their steak. It's a tad on the expensive side, but not overly. Simply means I won't be a regular. But I'll certainly return several times over the next four weeks. It's worth the splurge.
