That said, it appears one can only buy wine and hard alcohol at the state-run "Fine Wine and Good Spirits," while you can buy individual bottles of beer at lots of places and cases of beer at others. I've bought wine and harder stuff at two Greensburg locations now-- this one and the one by the Big Lots-- and this location is definitely the superior of the two. The selection seems better, and the employees are very willing to help you find what you're looking for. Prices vary; I've seen some wines that were super cheap and some that seemed outlandishly expensive. Overall you don't really have many shopping options in the area as far as adult beverages, but if you're looking for wine in Greensburg this seems to be the place to go. Note: the address is misleading, since everything in this area seems to say it's on Route 30. It's actually behind the mall, right by Winghart's.

This place doesn't look much different than others like it. Maybe the only difference was that it is a tad smaller. I came in to kind of just browse around a bit for a wine to drink that night. So I kind of just wandered around the store for a bit. I then got the hankering for a wine that I had once had. It was a moscato and I went on a search for it. I suppose the employees noticed me going from section to section until one of them came over to ask if I needed help. I did. I told the employee exactly what I was looking for and she went to where she thought it was as well. No luck for her either. She then did a search in the computer to see if any nearby stores would happen to have what I was looking for. I was in luck, there were a few other nearby places in the direction I was going. For future reference, if you can't find what you want at the store you are currently in, ask if they can do a search of nearby stores, you may be in luck. This store also went a little further. Unfortunately for me, the wine I was looking for was discontinued, which meant that I would only be able to find it for a short time and be out of luck after that. The manager of the store took me on kind of an educational tour of wines that would be similar to what I was looking for. I appreciated that, plus I have a little more knowledge of wine now.

Most things were priced very reasonably and aisles were extremely well stocked and organized. They had everything we had on our list and also when we went there was a wine tasting which they have on Saturdays from 1pm - 5pm. They had a neat little system at the register to make lines go quickly. Each register had two people and while one rang all the items the other packaged/ bagged it all up. Folks were friendly and made small talk as we checked out. Good service. Well stocked. Good prices.
