The location is easily accessed, with a large car park, with buses serving the area nearby. It is also a stone's throw away from the DW Stadium, home to Wigan Athletic FC and Wigan Warriors. A large ASDA supermarket is also nearby. The retail park doesn't have much of an online presence, I couldn't find a list of stores and restaurants located here anywhere, which was pretty frustrating. In terms of eating and drinking, the selection is good for fast food with Subway, Greggs, KFC and Burger King have outlets here, the latter two being drive-thrus. The only coffee shop would be Costa (inside Next), in terms of more of a restaurant, there is a Nando's in the process of being constructed (September 2021), but it isn't much else. 3* - A-OK, there is a good selection of stores here.

I find this absolutely ridiculous as there is just not enough time to use the shops in a relaxed way. I intend to boycott the retail park and protest. I think that the media needs to be informed of this situation. I can certainly understand if people leave their cars parked on the car park for hours and hours. The Twig Shop. Well…read morenot so much a shop, rather a garage. Yes it's just a car garage, It's been going for some years now. Wednesday and Saturday it opens up the top sliding door to reveal a bit of an Aladins Cave of bits and bobs. It's all run as a charity to help people in third world countries. Every penny goes to the help needed. All items it sells are donated by the community and sell for a very small price. It's not the most elegant of little charity shops but it does what it says on the tin and really does help others. I nip in there very often and find those little gems that add something to my life. Very much the old saying Someones rubbish is another persons treasure.

This location is a short walk away from Chorley Station, opposite Market Walk Shopping Centre, with parking close-by. The product range in most cases is pretty good, they seem to focus on great service and high-quality items, they have many counters selling fresh produce so I was able to get some excellent quality meat and cheese, at a good price. They did have another fresh counter selling hot food, however something I found strange was how the jacket potatoes were pre-made with toppings on, they only had one left which had chilli on, obviously as I don't like chilli and this contained gluten, it meant I couldn't have it and it would have gone to waste. Surely if you have to go to a manned hot food counter anyway, having them ready and adding toppings on demand would be much better for both Booths (They can sell more potatoes) and the customer (You can actually get the fillings you want) The Free From selection seemed limited, especially for the size of the store, they didn't have the Findlaters Gluten-Free bread, which is my favourite gluten-free bread, which they stock at their Media City branch in Manchester, they did, however, have the bread rolls/baps, however, after getting home I realised they were past their expiration date so I didn't want to chance eating them, being charged £3.65 for expired food just isn't good enough. No reduced stickers, so the staff weren't even aware they were expiring soon. The meal deals were also misleading, I thought I'd pick up a gluten-free sandwich (Don't bother with them - the bread is hard and inedible!) as well as two snacks and a drink for £4, however it wasn't until I arrived home that I realised my drink wasn't classed as in the meal deal. After speaking to the store, I was told only certain drinks are classed in the meal deal, even though they are all-together anyway - I find this to be rather ridiculous and misleading and ended up costing me £2.20 more than I should have paid. 4* - Despite its' flaws, the staff are great here and the store has a good vibe and a great selection of high-quality foods which can't compare with any other supermarket so it is worth a trip out for, they do need to work on some pretty major problems. They have promised me a refund on my future visit, if this is adhered to I will continue to visit this store which has been in Chorley for over 100 years, although at this location for a shorter period of time.

I will say this . although a little pricey the food does seem to be good quality. And if you want quality then prices will refect that. My biggest hate of the store is their fresh bread. On the side shelfs they sell alot of fresh uncut loafs unwrapped. You pick a paper bag and put the loaf or sticks in the bag yourself. You never know how many people have squeezed the loaf and moved on, or how many people have sneezed on it. No unwrapped bread or rolls for me thanks. My usual Supermarket wrapped fresh loaves.

There's also a bowling alley and arcade. It's also great that the plentiful parking is all free, unlike Bolton town centre, and is secured by the (slightly controversial) UKPC. If parking doesn't matter to you, it's easily accessible on foot, and bus services run through it via several bus stops, and the stop at Horwich Parkway Rail Station. It can get congested around match days and the such, as there's only really two ways in and out, and both clog up quite quickly. They also have occasional promo events and activities, such as radio stations broadcasting from there, free kids face painting and character events, petting zoos etc.

Lots of different types of products, Some well known names and others new to me. There isnt a trip to town without a visit.. I have bought some really good things from the shop, pro my favorite is my Halogen Oven. Far cheaper than anywhere else but does a great job. The only problem that I see is it seems that some items when they are gone they are gone. So if it's food I really stock up. So go in, have a browse, and you will find you will walk out buying somthing. Works everytime. Just need a little coffee shop in the corner.

The menu features a selection of sandwiches, savouries, a cup of soup, a bucket of chips, a selection of cakes and a mini trifle. Plus your choice of a pot of tea or cup of filter coffee. I was happily surprised at the wide variety of teas! There was ample to eat. My husband and I ate our entire afternoon tea, but everyone else in our group had a few sweet treats left to take home. The food was very delicious. I loved the little quiche best along with the soup served in a cute tea cup and saucer! Plus, the little basket of chips was a nice touch! Scrumptious! Also, it's just 14 pounds for Afternoon Tea which I think it a great value for such a delicious savory tea. A decent Poundland location at the start of Market Walk in Chorley, the store is almost ten years…read moreold but still looks good from the outside, and on the interior, it feels like a typical Poundland store. The checkout area is well-managed with multiple self-service checkouts, this is good to see as it can be poorly managed without self-scanning checkouts at other locations, especially outside of big cities. The beverage and fridge sections were a little lacking, compared to other stores, but overall the selection was OK. They were low on staff, I always find Poundland to be a mini jumble sale and can struggle to find items, it's a shame there weren't staff on hand to assist here. 3* - Average Poundland store, some good products and A-OK for sure. Another nice brand to have in Chorley's town centre.

My boyfriend and I happened upon the Heskin Hall Craft Center during our recent UK Road trip. It's…read moremuch larger than it appears from the outside and has many local crafts vendors. You could easily spend a few hours perusing the stalls. We are not really into crafts, but we did enjoy the market side of the building. Unfortunately, we had a big lunch shortly before finding Heskins and we were not ready for another meal. There were loads of food options that looked fantastic. Instead, we grabbed a snack for the road- locally made potato chips and lemonade. The Rose Lemonade was unique and delicious. We enjoyed looking at the chickens and cows!
