They hang up on you or leave you on hold forever and I think it's very intentional because they had such bad attitudes and act like they're doing me a favor and they are so important. As I was waiting to talk to a manager Ashly Forster who is incompetent and could not explain to me why other patients could fill out paperwork in the patient room or why my appointment that was at 1:40 had mysteriously disappeared though I was 20 minutes early. There was no warning to any of this. Also didn't truly care for her way of care anyway. Very rushed like she didn't have time for you and had even walked out in the middle of conversations during appointments. She truly screwed me because it has been almost impossible to find another OB willing to take me at such short notice. I think this dr is dangerous and needs to have her license taken away for the safety of others.

I wish I had known this days prior. I wouldn't have taken the time out of my day. I wasted an hour of my time and at the end of it they asked me to get my previous records, which they could have done upon my first visit. I decided to go back to my previous gynecologist, whom I loved, but found a bit far. This being down the street seemed so convenient. I guess not, though!! Maybe when I called to request the appointment for that day the receptionist should've confirmed whether the exam was important for me to do or check my date of birth to figure out it was unnecessary for a pelvic exam. I requested information for labs and was sent to the phlebotomist. She told me about the labs I was looking into and I explained to both the phlebotomist and Dr. Kari Eckhardt that I am SELF PAY ONLY. I wanted to get a genetic test done but knew I would most likely not be able to pay for it. The phlebotomist told me it was $10. She double checked it and sure enough charged me for $10. Later I got a $2k bill in the mail all thanks to the neglectful phlebotomist. I'd rather figure things out on my own before going to this scam of a place ever again. Thanks

She made me feel so comfortable and help ease my nerves while explaining what was happening. My only complaint is that they had called me in medicine and I did not know what it was or for what reason. I received no call from anyone only through the Healow app. I was confused. When I called the women who answered was rude and did not know what she was talking about and hurried me off the phone when I was still trying to ask questions. When I go back an a year I will make sure to ask for the same nurse practitioner.

The nurse first informed me that I would not have a specific doctor and any doctor on call will deliver the baby. I went to the office a couple of times after a the woman who takes my blood often did not know the reason or what test she was collecting for the withdrawal. I stuck multiple times and she eventually had to stuck my hand. I was made to repeat test because they do not check the records. I had to send messages through the portal explaining to them I've already taken an initial test to test my HCG and another. They were going to do it again because they did not read! I requested to have my records transferred. Filled out the digital form sent it and they say it takes 5-7 business days. We are on the 9th business day, the doctor has received no records!!! This place will compromise you and your babies health! Find somewhere else

This review is just for her and not the clinic itself. She is wonderful and amazing. I came to the medical office back in June after becoming pregnant with our first baby. I never met the OB/GYN for 4 months and only dealt with Nurse Chantal. She's knowledgable and empathetic to the nerves of a newly pregnant mom. I left the practice after a miscarriage scare when no one at the office was able to assist me or answer any questions over the weekend. The answering service was told to advise anyone suspected of an emergency to go to an emergency room. I wasn't satisfied with her answer and the lack of care or follow up from the OB/GYN. The final straw was when Dr Smith No-showed for an appointment after that incident without notice. I showed to the appointment and found out she had taken a personal leave. I cannot recommend Dr Smith's services but if you're not pregnant and need routine care. I would definitely see Nurse Chantal Ashley. Or perhaps you'll have better luck than I did.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Katy office was very disappointing. Although I provided my chief complaint when booking and was only advised of my copay beforehand, I was told after arriving and paying that I might owe anywhere from $29-$300 depending on labs. The front desk was unclear and inconsistent when I asked why this wasn't disclosed prior. One receptionist made it seem like upfront payment was required, while another later clarified that I could choose Quest and be billed later -- an option that was never initially explained. When I met with Nurse Practitioner Teniola Jackson, she immediately defended the receptionist's explanation and attributed the upfront payment request to insurance requirements. She stated that Quest was not mentioned because they typically only test two labs and that she preferred to order a full panel. This statement was inaccurate based on my recent medical history, as I had an annual physical completed where over ten labs were sent out to my preferred lab. Patients should never be forced to use a provider's preferred lab, particularly when network status and patient cost responsibility are unknown. I later confirmed with my insurance company that the office's in-house lab is out of network for my plan, which could have resulted in significant financial liability. To make matters worse, I was told three prescriptions would be sent to my pharmacy. They never were. By the time I realized this, the office was closed. I ultimately had to do a telehealth urgent care visit to get the same prescriptions. I'm not leaving this review to bash the practice, but to share an honest experience and hopefully bring attention to issues with communication, billing transparency, and follow-through that need improvement.
