It would be impossible to describe how POSITIVE of an experience it was to work with Laura!…read moreEverything went soooooo smoothly from start to finish and Laura was that driver for us! She always made us feel like her #1 priority even though we knew she was busy with other clients: she made time for us on-a-dime, was always present, on-time or early, and was incredible good at scheduling around all of our busy schedules. Laura is an AMAZING communicator: was quick and responsive and always provided us with thorough details and explanations. Laura provided us (first-time home buyers) with an incredible wealth of knowledge and advice when we requested and had great insights. She also has an extensive personal network that helped us start our lender search, find a day-of home inspector, and contractors to help us get started on our new-home projects. She understood our home buying strategy, and helped us get our dream house on our FIRST offer! Her advice and guidance was instrumental in us landing the house we had our hearts set on! We will work with Laura again for any future home purchase. I would recommend Laura to any and EVERYONE!

If you are looking for a realtor, look no further. Laura is the ONE! My husband and I were…read morefirst-time home buyers buying a condo in Arlington. Laura was recommended to us as a top agent in the DMV area with impressive transaction volume each year. Although we identified multiple agents through our search, we immediately decided to work with Laura after our initial video call because we were impressed by her knowledge of the local housing market and all aspects of real estate transaction. We are so grateful that we did! We were buying a condo in a very competitive area. Every time when we made an offer, we had a competing offer and had to act very quickly to make our offer more competitive. Laura worked around the clock to prepare the comparative market analysis, tour the units with us, crafted and advised us on compelling offer terms and negotiated with the seller agents. Our closing had some extra complexities due to the condo building's financing approval being expired. Laura skillfully helped us navigate this issue. She proactively included relevant language in our offer to protect us from such financing issue before we even knew there was an issue with the condo building. After we discovered the issue, Laura was in constant communication with the seller's agent, condo building and mortgage broker to speedily resolve the issue and ensure we could close on time within 3 weeks. Laura's price prediction and recommendations were spot on when we submitted our offer. She recommended us to adjust our offer to a certain price to increase our chance of sealing the deal at our offer price (instead of activating the price escalation clause and resulting in us paying a higher price). We were able to be the winning offer because of Laura's excellent communication skills and expert advice. We followed Laura's recommendation and did not have to pay more than our offer price for the condo. The appraisal ended up being higher than our purchase price. We are grateful that Laura helped us secure our dream home at a great price. Laura was extremely responsive and patient. We had a lot of questions as first-time home buyers. Laura patiently answered all of our questions at any time of the day. Despite her busy schedule, she accommodated our challenging schedules and requests under short notice every single time, which enabled us to close our home with great success. We could not have asked for a better realtor to share this home purchase journey with. Thank you Laura for being an outstanding, caring and dedicated realtor!

Bottom line: BEWARE & AVOID…read more Imagine working with a listing agent that haphazardly chooses not to present an offer to their client, as a seller. No way, right?! Wrong. This group unethically prolonged ratification of a viable offer to drum up more offers on a poorly priced listing that's sitting COLD in a HOT market. And immediately after being held accountable, this listing agent undermined the reputable, military-affiliated lender of the potential buyers and increased the listing price by $30K to cover up their group's lack of judgment. That is an experience in working with the Good(bad)hart Group. Additionally, this group is disrespectful of fellow agents, while touting their long (see: out of touch) experience in the industry. From a millennial, veteran, BIPOC perspective, this nepotistic realty group is not one to work with. But if you're seeking a group that is discriminatory, condescending, and generally uncooperative -- this is the one for you. Bonus: check out another review the group had removed to hide their poor performance.

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, efficient, and handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Our Closing Attorney, Ryan Stuart, and Loan Processor, Janelle Curtis, were absolutely amazing to work with. They were both so kind, extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and attentive--addressing every question we had promptly and in great detail. Their professionalism, expertise and genuine care made the entire process not only easy but truly enjoyable. What could have been a stressful time felt completely seamless, and that's entirely thanks to them. The moment we arrived at MBH's beautiful Old Town office, we were welcomed so warmly--it immediately set the tone for the day. Every detail--from the greeting to the closing itself--was impeccable. Ryan even took extra time to sit with us afterward and answer additional questions, which we appreciated more than words can say. We left feeling cared for, confident, and truly grateful. The level of service and sincerity we experienced with MBH Settlement Group Old Town went above and beyond all of our expectations (and they were set pretty high, based on prior experiences). We are so thankful to Ryan, Janelle, and the entire team--and we will absolutely be using them again in the future. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

We met Sue in February 2017 - she came to our rental, also in Alexandria - and we hit it off right away. We warned her we were picky - our goal was to be in something by the end of the year. She didn't seem fazed in the least. Over the next 8 months, we looked at no fewer than 60 properties. We even had some interesting feng shui requirements that crept in over time from our parents - again, Sue wasn't phased in the least. She was consistently positive, forthright, friendly, and very, very responsive. Sue is also very knowledgeable about homes in this area. We never once got the feeling she was pushing us in a certain direction to make a sale. When we finally found "our" home, everything seemed to just fall into place. Until we ran into a title issue, that is. Long story short, it was nothing short of a miracle that we got it resolved in time to close before losing our mortgage rate lock. What we realized in hindsight is that Sue comes with a great team - everyone she recommended (lenders, inspectors, title companies, etc.) was extremely easy to work with and competent. Even when things got a little stressful at the end, Sue remained positive and responsive, and wasn't afraid to let us know when something was outside her area of expertise. We had such a great experience working with Sue and would recommend her to anyone buying in the area!

My realtor's name was Jennifir Bobsein, she came highly recommended from a friend and wow did she make a difference. Luckily Jennifir is licensed in both VA and DC so I wasn't limited in my selection. I choose to look more closely at DC. From the very beginning, Jennifir worked tirelessly to ensure that not only did I see as many properties within my criteria as possible, but also that I would not pay over fair market value. When I finally did place an offer, Jennifir spent all the time needed to go over every piece of paper and why it was important. I had no idea there were so much paperwork involved in the process, but Jennifir made it all very easy to understand and very clear. (I actually didn't have a single question of the lawyer at closing b/c Jennifir had explained everything to me so well.) Even after the offer was accepted, Jennifir checked on the property numerous times, on her own, to ensure the inspection and all the mandatory fixes were completed to satisfaction. I have a very demanding work schedule and could not make it to everything. I cannot recommend Jennifir Bobsein enough, I will surely send everyone I know who is looking to purchase a home in her direction. She is professional, knowledgable and exceptionally nice/attentive to your needs. Jennifir's number at Weichert is (703) 835-1256, you can also google her name and get her personal page on Weichert's website.

I interviewed several agents and used this Weichert agent because she was listed in the Washingtonian as one of the top 100. The agent provided no guidance on pricing my home, basically left it up to me, once the home was on the market she had minimal contact with me and failed to return calls, when I texted or emailed she would say that she would call later and did not, she complained about her other clients when we did communicate (which makes me wonder what she was saying about me), she remove my listing after I received one low offer within 24 hours of reducing my price, eliminating the opportunity to receive additional offers. In full disclosure, the reduction was my action, not hers but she did not provide any professional advice on the price change. After stating multiple times that I would out of the country on the settlement date, two days before settlement she asked if I would be at the closing, after I had already signed the settlement documents earlier in the week. She never even communicated that the closing had actually taken place, even though I was not present. I actually had to reach out to her and ask! I have bought/sold six houses and this was by far the worst service I have ever received. Overall service was poor, full of drama with every communication (from another client being threatened with a gun to her daughter's Louis Vitton handbag being stolen). As the client I was never her priority. Worst $60,000+ I ever spent.

LizLuke's most valuable skill, to me, is in accurately pricing offers. I purchased during a housing crash and most recently in the current pre-Amazon craze. Both times, the property was competitively bid by multiple buyers. Both times, LizLuke predicted what offer would get me the property. I'm fairly cheap. When LizLuke priced my bid, it wasn't simply a matter of coming in with a load of cash and grossly overpaying. While I cannot tell for certain, I feel like my winning bids were just a fraction above the 2nd place buyer. LizLuke has other qualities that I appreciate. She has a lot of connections in the home improvement space. Both properties I purchased needed moderate repairs. When I called and told them that LizLuke sent me, I received exceedingly fast responses and I was pleased with the jobs that were done. LizLuke has also been very responsive to my communications. I believe I received same day responses to just about every question I asked, and even after both sales has called to see if everything is going well. LizLuke has my highest recommendation.
