McDonald's seems to be the leading fast-food chain in Stockholm. Ordering from the machines is heavily emphasized so the staff can focus on cooking and distribution.
It's a good-sized space, with different kinds of seating and all kinds of humanity. It tends to be messy, at least at busy times. There was soda spilled all over the floor when I arrived, and it didn't get cleaned up until well into my visit. I even had to point out another spot with spilled soda to the staff person so she could clean it took. There was ketchup all over the stand where you get ketchup and napkins. Out front is not exactly clean, either.
It took me only a few minutes to get back to my room, but the Big Mac and fries were already considerably cool. Otherwise, they were the typical in terms of appearance and flavor.
They were heavily pushing a McFlurry with Sweden's beloved salted black licorice, but I passed. There were several other local specialties.
At least this location is barrier-free, unlike the one I went to in March in Las Vegas.
