Angela seems very passive aggressive and treats you like an ignorant cash grab who will just listen…read moreto whatever she tells you is best for your wedding. Very disappointed. Mind you, my fiancé and I are both music students studying at Berklee School of Music. She even complained about previous clients on the phone to us, basically calling them stupid for having specific requests, which we found to be very unprofessional. Don't be a pushover to her if you have a vision for your wedding! Choose a vendor that's going to help you make your dream wedding come true! Song requests for a band are NOT a crazy ask- but to Angela apparently they are. Edit: As a response to your comment, Angela, we didn't even tell you how many songs we wanted them to learn. We just asked if they would do ANY requests, and you shot us down and told us to "stick to the list." Maybe we wanted at least just one song (which we would've provided sheet music for), and the rest from the list, but you weren't even willing to coordinate with us. Also, who mentioned anything about christian music? We said we had classical pieces in mind. What an odd thing to say. Angela... of course we hung up on you.

(I personally feel that DJs are too middle school dance.) Luxury Trio was great. They accommodated our more contemporary music taste. Jazz music really sets a chill but fancy atmosphere. They created a great intimate feel too. They are perfect for a small-medium size wedding or special event. The best part is their price. We spent less on a live band than most people spend on a DJ.

We recently had a party for my dad's 75th birthday and had contracted the Luxury Trio for the gig…read more We considered the Luxury Trio because of my father's taste in swing and jazz. We had asked them to include dance tunes since our family likes to dance - boy did they deliver! They played some jazz and swing to start off, but got everyone's feet moving with tunes by the Beatles, The Drifters (On Broadway), Santana, Stevie Wonder, and even Michael Jackson (Billie Jean). They were kind enough to allow one of our uncles to take the lead on vocals for a requested piece. Our family and guests really enjoyed having the Trio perform. Kevin, the vocalist for the night, got high compliments and as one guest put it, "that guy ain't singing he SANGIN' FOR THE CHURCH"!!! Another guest thought that Lee, the guitarist, was "mean on the strings" but in a really good way! Overall, I would highly recommend this group to anyone who is interested in having live music at their event, but want to try something a little different.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere communicates, "If you're not ready to buy, then get out." Every. Single. Guitar. has a placard tucked between the strings that says something like "Ask for Help," and there's a salesman posted up in every zone who feels more like a bouncer than someone there to help. What if I want to pick up 8-10 different guitars, gently strum them, and find one I just can't live without? That's never going to happen if I have to ask permission to pick up every single one. That's absurd. If you want to be a museum, then be a museum. I get that you don't want to be Guitar Center, where 5,000 kids a day put their little pizza-grease fingers on every guitar and crank the amps until you can't hear your own thoughts. I totally get it. But you need to find a balance somewhere in the middle. Most customers in this market are grown men who have no intention of mistreating your precious inventory. Sure, keep the vintage relics out of reach of actual schoolchildren, but find a way to make customers feel welcome and let them explore a few guitars without a salesman breathing down their neck. But also you can do what you want and I know I'm not entitled to your store being the way I want. Hence the disclaimer at the beginning. Either way I wish ya'll many more years of selling music equipment and spreading the life changing thing that is making music.
