I don't even have words to say how happy I was with his performance at our wedding. All I can say is thank you, and thank you again; and my goodness bro, thank you! We wanted a Spanish guitarist for our wedding, but we also wanted someone who can play traditional guitar as well. Like I said before, I don't even know what to say. Everything he played was perfection. I'm definitely a perfectionist (as he probably could tell when we met) which by the way, he had no problem doing. He responded to my emails, met up with my wife and I, and although he's a professional; he was humble enough to listen to everything we wanted to say, which is extremely important in a vendor. Not only did Rico meet my expectations, he surpassed them. Completely. Here were some of my initial concerns. I knew he could play the Spanish guitar (because I heard him in his videos) but I had no idea if he could play traditional guitar, because I hadn't heard him do so. He assured me that he could, so I really had to trust him. Not only could he play the traditional guitar, he could play it so amazingly beautiful. I would now trust this dude to do anything. I wouldn't even have to meet up with him. I'd just say, Rico, play this, and I promise you, he can.

They showed up early, coordinated perfectly with the church organist, and were an absolute joy to work with from day one. We threw them a curveball by requesting "Cornfield Chase" from Interstellar (a piece they'd never done before), and oh my gosh; they nailed it. It sounded incredible live and turned our processional into something straight out of a movie. So many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding music they'd ever heard. The real moment of magic? Midway through the ceremony, someone's phone alarm started blaring from the grooms room. Instead of letting it derail the vibe, the quartet instantly transitioned into the softest, most gorgeous background playing that completely covered the noise. We didn't even notice it happened until our bridesmaid pointed it out later; that level of professionalism and quick thinking blew us away. Special shout-out to Alicia for being so kind, responsive, and patient while we figured out our music list. She made the whole process feel easy and actually fun. If you're on the fence, just book them. Organic String Quartet isn't just great musicians; they're the kind of vendors who genuinely care about making your day perfect. 1000/10, we're still smiling thinking about how beautiful they made everything sound. My four older children developed a lifelong passion for band and music because of this lovely store. Henson's family run music store is deeply missed in Camarillo. The Camarillo music store staff helped my four children survive and thrive after the death of a sibling. Music helped my surviving children so much! Music can be so healing. Music helps students academically in math and reading and to focus well when children play instruments beginning in fourth grade or sixth grade through twelfth grade. Playing in band or orchestra helps students be organized and concentrate. it improves self esteem too. Again, music helped to save my four surviving children emotionally. Thank you to the wonderful Henson family! It is truly rare to find such knowledgeable and caring staff in a special family music store. There are many young sales people at other music stores who seem to lack the ability to care about other human beings or develop any concern to learn much about instruments. It appears to be just a job for these sales people. So, it is such a blessing to know Lisa at Henson's Music Center in Oxnard who absolutely understands customer's needs and has excellent values to help them continue loving music. It is their passion to help people gain a love for music and playing instruments. Excellent job Oxnard for having such a great family run music store! I highly recommend you drive to Oxnard to meet Lisa, Lucy, her mother and their caring, knowledgeable staff or extended family. That is why loyal customers keep returning to Henson's Music Center in Oxnard. Customers never need distant or seemingly uncaring music store salespeople. People need knowledgeable and caring music professionals to help transform their lives through music. Thankfully, Henson's Music Center is still in Oxnard. Lisa Henson looked over an almost brand new Yamaha Tenor Sax 480 to check how well it worked. She is a remarkable person. My fifth child and youngest son, is forever grateful to Lisa Henson for her help. The Henson family at Henson's Music Center and their caring staff in Oxnard put so much loving effort into excellent repairs on instruments, lessons and every interaction with all customers. Their authentic nature shines through in all their interactions with people. I highly recommend you drive to Henson's Music Center in Oxnard and avoid any sales people in nearby music stores. The drive to Oxnard especially on side streets, past lovely fields is enjoyable. Plus, the parking is great near this inviting and warm music store. You will be forever changed by the entire knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Read on. I used Natalie on June 22nd 2013 for my wedding. Natalie met with my (to-be) wife and I and she had helpful checklists that rapidly took us through every aspect of the day. She was very interested in our suggestions and asked a lot of questions to hone in on exactly what mood, tone and atmosphere we wanted created at every point. She was able to come up with music for the entire day and evening that can only be described as "the perfect everything for Mike and Holly's wedding". Natalie never said "no" or "we can't really do that" or "I don't have that music". That was reassuring to us! When you are trying to put together a wedding on a tight budget and tight time line, having someone like Natalie on our team really made what could have been a fricking nightmare a lot calmer. She used the phrase "no worries" a lot, meant it, and ultimately she backed that shit up. She also played a live song with me (at my request) and this was very moving to everyone there, to say the least. She sounds like a cross between Cher, Janice Joplin, Linda Perry, Robert Plant and Annie Lennox. She fricking rocks! Part of the whole thing, I wanted a violinist to play for guests arriving and to play with me during the live song. Natalie found a violinist who was not only amazing (someone who played violin live with the biggest names in music), but at a very reasonable price. She even dressed like a pirate, as it was a pirate themed wedding. Playing live with her was a real treat. The last thing I remember that night was my wife and I dancing the night away to block rockin' beats and every corny disco and funk song we ever loved growing up, and lots of other music picked to entertain our extremely diverse party of guests. "A good time was had by all" and this pirate themed wedding literally went down in history and became the discussion de rigueur on Facebook for the next fricking month lol.
