I don't see a doctor a lot, I'm a nurse so I see them everyday at work! I thought she was smart, matter of fact & to the point! I like that!

UPDATED REVIEW - 09/04/2026…read more REVIEW FOR DR. CHOI: I have been a patient of Dr. Choi since 2015 (way back when he was in Summerlin in the brown offices starting out - one of his first few patients he started with) , and I can say without hesitation that having Dr. Choi as my physician has been one of the most meaningful and reassuring constants in my life. Over the years, he has been there for me through some of my toughest moments, as well as some of my best. His care has extended far beyond what I believe most people would consider the ordinary responsibilities of a physician. Dr. Choi and all of his staff have made sure I was taken care of even after hours, remained involved through multiple hospitalizations, and consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that I received the care and attention I needed. What distinguishes Dr. Choi from most physicians however, is the way he advocates for his patients. There have been times when I was physically, emotionally, or otherwise unable to advocate for myself, and he stepped into that role without hesitation. Knowing that someone was in my corner--someone who understood my history, listened to me, and genuinely cared about my well-being--made an immeasurable difference. After more than a decade as his patient, I don't view he simply as a physician. I view him as someone who has earned my deepest trust and gratitude through years of compassion, dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to my care. Exceptional physicians are difficult to find. A physician who consistently treats you like a person rather than a patient is even rarer. I am profoundly grateful to have had that kind of physician in my life since 2015. I could not recommend them more highly. REVIEW FOR DR. CHOI'S STAFF (Laura, Daisy, Ashley, Christine, Dani): The staff at this office is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk through the door, you are treated with kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine respect. They consistently go far above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and never make you feel like you are simply another patient. Over the years, I have experienced countless examples of their willingness to help. Whether it is answering questions, coordinating appointments, handling paperwork, communicating with other providers, or simply taking the time to listen when you need someone to help, they are always there. They are incredibly attentive and make every effort to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. What I appreciate most is that their compassion feels genuine. Even during difficult and stressful circumstances, they remain patient, understanding, and reassuring. They have gone out of their way to make challenging situations easier and have repeatedly demonstrated that they genuinely care about the people they serve. It is rare to find a medical office where the entire staff consistently operates with such a high level of professionalism, empathy, and dedication. They create an environment where you feel supported, respected, and confident that someone is willing to help you whenever you need it. The staff is an extraordinary reflection of the quality and compassion of this practice. Their commitment to their patients does not go unnoticed, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me over the years. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They truly go above and beyond. *Laura is the WORLD'S best phlebotomist! She's the ONLY one I will let near my arms - she's like a ninja when she gets me with the butterfly needle, because I have VERY hard to find veins and I've been told I'm a "VERY hard stick." Laura gets me on the first try and can get all the vials she needs for labs. I can't comment on others in the office because Laura knows she's the only one I allow to take vial after vial of blood from me. :)

I really felt secure with Dr. Choi while in the hospital…read more Thank you thank you doctor august 18/2025

I was specifically looking for a female doctor so I was very excited. I gave the office a call and it went straight to voice mail. Waited a day and called again. This time a friendly woman answered the phone. She took a majority of my information over the phone. She let me know that there were no appointments for new patients for a few months. I said okay and she let me know that some one would call me back to make the actual appointment. Well, by the time I received a call back it had been nearly 3 week and I had already been seen by another provider. I understand offices are busy but there was no sense of urgency for new patients here.

My mom was a new patient of Dr. Betty Yao and had a very disappointing experience before even…read moreseeing the doctor. After multiple calls, she finally got an appointment scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 AM. She arrived early at 9:45 AM and checked in. She patiently waited for more than half an hour. Since she had an Uber scheduled for 11:00 AM pick up, she politely asked the front desk how long the wait would be. Instead of giving an estimate or trying to help, the front desk immediately told her, "Then you won't be able to see the doctor today," and asked her to reschedule. When my mom asked how much time she was expected to reserve for a routine appointment, the answer was "2 hours." Seriously? What is the point of making an appointment if patients are expected to wait two hours for what is usually a very short visit? And for a new elderly patient relying on scheduled transportation, the response felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. Long waits can happen, but the attitude and lack of respect for patients' time were unacceptable. If your office routinely runs this far behind, patients should at least be informed ahead of time instead of being turned away after arriving on time. Very disappointing first impression.

As a patient of Dr. Jacks for close to two years now, I do not feel that I am hyperbolizing when I say with some degree of certainty that Dr. Jacks is one of the most valuable assets to breast oncology, not only here in Las Vegas, Nevada, but also in this country and possibly even on this planet. Although that may just be my opinion, it is an objective truth that I most likely would not have met my 46th birthday had I not met Dr. Jacks in June 2019 at age 45. And on March 2nd of this year I met my 47th birthday. Another objective truth about Dr. Jacks is that my opinion can be corroborated, both personally by a former patient's daughter AND professionally by one of her own peers. A nurse at one of the CCCSN campuses where I receive treatment shared with me that her mom was a patient of Dr. Jacks. In short she said to me: "She saved my mom's life. She's amazing." In May 2019, I met breast surgeon Dr. Jennifer Beynosa who, upon determining that the next logical step for me would not be surgery but chemotherapy, outright asked me: "Do you want me to refer you to an oncologist who is closer in distance to where you live, or do you want the best?" And how do I feel about choosing "the best"? Lucky. But not JUST lucky. I feel that I am part of the proportionally same tiny percentage of people who are SO lucky as to win the lottery. Only, thanks to Dr. Jacks, I "won" TIME with my children, which is infinitely more valuable to me.

I found this place on a recommendation of a friend. I have been through quite a few sub par doctors…read morein the past since being here in Vegas. A good doctor is hard to find. When I first started going here I saw a PA named Racheal and she provided excellent physician services. That lasted for about two years and then she left. Then I started seeing Amon Denzel NP-C and he was an excellent physician that was only there for about a year. Then I started seeing Jaqueline Butler NP-C who was also a great physician. That lasted a year or maybe two. Now I have a new physician, Karen AIog FNP-C. If the need arises, the appointment can be turned into a telephone doctor visit. New physicians won't refill prescriptions without seeing you first. Whether it's in person or over the phone. I had to do an emergency phone call appointment with doctor Renu Mahajan because I was running out of prescriptions and they hadn't found a replacement physician yet. The advantage of the nurse practitioners is that they tend to do the late shift appointments. I can get an appointment for around the 4pm time frame. This saves me from having to take a vacation day for an appointment. The staff so far has been helpful and friendly when someone answers the phone. The receptionist and medical assistants are good at getting questions answered and returning phone calls. Recently, I had an appointment with the FNP-C and that appointment got cancelled. My appointment was rescheduled for almost a month later. The problem was that I was getting ready to run out of my blood pressure medication three weeks before my appointment. I called the medical assistant to help solve this problem. I really didn't want to stop my blood pressure medications abruptly. I asked the medical assistant if I could have the doctor refill my prescriptions. I was told that the doctor wanted to do an appointment in order to refill my prescriptions. So, I asked if I could do an emergency appointment with the doctor over the phone and the medical assistant said that the earliest appointment available was July 1st. Well July 1st was the same situation as previously mentioned with the nurse practitioner. I canceled my appointment for July 1st. Then I went to the pharmacy to get an emergency three day prescription of a blood pressure medication that I had just ran out of. Needless to say, the changing of practitioners over the many years has been frustrating and annoying. I don't like having to find another practice, but I also don't like running out of blood pressure medications that I need.

I have been going to this clinic for years, and unfortunately I've been meaning to find a new…read moreprimary care physician for quite some time. My most recent experience finally pushed me to write this review. 1) There is absolutely no continuity of care. I haven't actually seen Dr. Mahajan in years. Over the last 3-4 years, I have seen approximately 4-5 different PAs--and I'm not exaggerating. Every time I go in, I feel like I'm starting over and have to explain my medical history and health situation to someone new. 2) My most recent experience is much more concerning. I have a serious kidney condition and am now beginning the process of getting approved for a kidney transplant. As part of that process, my kidney specialist requires me to complete a Cologuard screening. Because of how our insurance/healthcare system works, the order needs to come from my PCP. Dr. Mahajan is now insisting that I schedule an appointment with her before she will order the test. This is a standard, non-invasive screening, and I'm requesting it specifically because it is required as part of my transplant evaluation. The bigger problem? She doesn't have an appointment available for almost TWO MONTHS. That means something as simple as getting an order placed for a screening test could potentially delay my transplant evaluation and approvals by weeks--all because I'm being required to wait nearly two months for an office visit before the test will even be ordered. I completely understand that doctors need to follow appropriate medical protocols, and if there were a legitimate medical reason that I needed to be evaluated before this test could be ordered, I would have no issue with that. But requiring an appointment while simultaneously being unable to provide one for nearly two months is incredibly frustrating when the delay affects something as serious and time-sensitive as a kidney transplant evaluation. After years of constantly changing PAs and now dealing with this, I think it's finally time for me to find a primary care practice that provides better continuity of care and is more responsive when a patient is dealing with a serious medical situation.
