Truly one of the most welcoming studios I've ever been to as well - it's the fastest I've made new dance friends at a studio before and the staff is so nice. They film the end of every class which is great, and sometimes they'll even bring in professional videographers for certain classes or pop ups. I typically go to Jingle's jazz funk and heels classes but have branched out recently to Kpop and other instructors and have always had a good experience.

I signed up online via a link from their Instagram and the website was pretty user friendly and I was able to get registered for the class I wanted. No sweat. Looking for parking can be tough as it's street parking only, so I came a bit early to ensure I was able to get a spot. Walking in, the interior was pretty cozy and it was smaller compared to other studios I've been to in LA, but not a bad thing at all! The person working the front greeted me and I told her it was my first time so she gave me a rundown of how the studio works. I appreciate the great customer service! They have a full front mirror, cubbies to store your belongings, a clean bathroom, and an ipad up front to sign in. The class was comfortable since there were people of different dance levels so it's not intimidating. I also liked that it wasn't crowded. The classes usually last for 1 hour and 30 min. I would definitely take a class here again in the future.

Walking-in, the music was loudly playing and the interior had a party type of vibe. Thankfully there were ear plugs available for purchase. Checking-in was a bit difficult since it was hard for me to hear the receptionist due to the loud music. She was also wasn't the most friendly or welcoming which didn't make me feel great. I also needed to use the bathroom and her directions weren't very clear, so I had to ask her where to locate it a couple of times. I ended up using the bathroom at a nearby spa which I'm not sure if that's the bathroom she was referring to. There were lots of cubbies to store my stuff before taking the class which was nice. The age demographic of the participants was on the higher side, but everyone seemed so energetic. The instructor was also fun and lively. I liked her hip-hop style choreography which was full of energy and grooves. I was impressed that she was able to dance with so much energy for an hour straight. I overall enjoyed the music selection and choreography of the class. Overall, a decent experience here. Since it was my first time, I was able to get into this class for $15. Otherwise it would be $30 which I think is a bit pricey compared to regular dance classes in LA that go for 1 hour and 30 minutes for around $20. However, I do recognize this could be the standard for these types of classes. I wouldn't go out of my way to do this again, but would be possibly down if someone invited me. More of a preference, but I would feel more comfortable taking classes like these with people closer to my age demographic.

David was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding preparation. My husband and I took private…read moresalsa lessons with him to choreograph our first dance for our May wedding at Rancho Las Lomas, and we truly could not have asked for a better instructor. We started as beginners, but David immediately made us feel comfortable. He was incredibly encouraging, patient, positive, and genuinely invested in helping us. Rather than teaching a generic routine, he created a completely custom choreography for the song we chose and thoughtfully tailored every step to match our skill level. As we improved, he adapted the routine to challenge us while always making sure we felt confident and capable. One thing we especially appreciated was how much he cared about our progress. He regularly recorded videos of our lessons so we could watch ourselves improve, which was not only motivating but incredibly helpful for practicing between sessions. Seeing how far we had come over time was such a rewarding experience. We also attended David's group classes, and he brought the same incredible energy to every lesson. He's an outstanding teacher who creates a welcoming, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable learning, regardless of experience. One of the most thoughtful things he did was arrange for us to perform our routine during the Thursday night open dance, giving us the chance to practice dancing in front of a crowd before our wedding. That experience did wonders for our confidence and made performing our first dance on our wedding day feel so much more natural. David doesn't just teach dance--he builds confidence, celebrates your progress, and makes the entire experience genuinely fun. Thanks to him, our first dance became one of our favorite memories from our wedding day, and the journey of learning it was just as special. If you're looking for an instructor who is talented, creative, patient, and truly cares about his students, I cannot recommend David highly enough. Whether you're preparing for a wedding, learning salsa for the first time, or simply looking for an amazing instructor, you'll be in the very best hands.

I was looking for a place that had technically skilled instructors AND a warm, welcoming environment. This is not easy to find. Often with teachers of this caliber and training, you find a competitive and cold culture which doesn't work for my daughter or for me. The Floor couldn't be further from this. The Studio Director must place high importance on cultural fit because every single person we've worked with here is top-notch - helpful, attentive and just a good human. The Floor is a wonderful place - it honestly feels like family. My daughter loves it here so much that she's taking 3 classes a week. Even teachers who have never taught her know her by name, and they know me too! It's just that kind of place. I can't recommend it highly enough.

While WLAD is traditionally a studio for kids, I love that they offer tap, jazz, hip-hop, and ballet exclusively for adults, and in a completely non-judgmental environment (Heavy on the non-judgmental - EVERYONE is welcome, even if you're a total novice!). She created an intimate, calming atmosphere that began with a guided meditation, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Elina's warm, kind energy as a host made the experience exceptional. The soft music and Elina's gentle guidance added to the ambiance, making it easy to express ourselves freely. As any parent knows, sometime things happen, and my daughter got a cold, so off course I didn't took her to attend her class. However, when I email to try to schedule a MAKE UP CLASS, they said it the only availability was the Saturday class at 9am and parent participation on that class was mandatory!! I didn't understand why I had to participate on that class since I don't have to participate on the classes that she actually takes it, Also I tried to explain that I have a 14 month old boy and would be impossible for me to do any participation at that class since I have to watch my son as well!! Later I found it, that the makeup class they were offering was a toddler class, Ballet/Tap 2 to 3 years old. WHAT A JOKE!!! My daughter is 5 going on almost 6 years old, and they want her to dance with 2 years old???? Also they want to obligate me to participate in the class? they want to make me pay for my 14 month old BOY, to do ballet-Tap dance on that day so my daughter could do the class which was not at all the class that I have paid the tuition for!!! Let me give you an example, if you miss a math class on 6 grade but the school offer you a make up class math from third grade??? Is that make sense??? Get my point ? Well they didn't !!!! when I called and tried to explain this, the UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE from this facility was extremely rude, didn't even let me talk, and hang up the phone on my face!!!! FOR WHAT??? So I kept calling, and they completely tried to reverse the whole situation, saying that I was the rude one and that the made a decision to cancel my daughter our contract ( which I'm glad!!!! ) but it wasn't fair, first because how I CAN BE RUDE, IF YOUR EMPLOYEE DIDNT EVEN LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY!???? instead she just kept yelling on the phone, shutting me off and just repeating THIS IS THE "POLICY" !!! Literally not letting me talk at all, and like a child having a tantrum she choose to hang up the phone on my face!!!! I was chocked!!!! An hour later they wrote that I "violate their POLICY," and I was treating their employee what A LIE!!!! The Main reason why I'm writing this review is to ALLERT any person that is thinking of signing up they children to this facility, they wrote on they their email the stand up for their employees . Well I STAND UP FOR PARENTS, like me that don't deserve to be treated this way and don't want my child to be surround of this kind of people that works on your studio!!! ATTENTION PARENTS: BE CAUTIOUS BEFORE SIGNING YOUR CHILD HERE FOR CLASSES, keep in mind , if your kid gets a cold and you keep your child home to prevent others from getting sick, when you tried to get the make up class they will offer you a "BABY CLASS" regardless your child age and if you complain they will treat you like trash!!! LOS ANGELES IS FULL OF GREAT DANCE STUDIOS with nice, kind people !! Some things happens for a reason and the only positive out of all of this is that my FAMILY WONT BE NEAR THIS PLACE EVER again!!! Do yourself a favor and research their POLICY THAT ONLY BENEFIT THEMSELVES BEFORE WAISTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!
