12/29/25: THIS OFFICE REPEATEDLY DEMANDED I COME IN FOR MEDICALLY UNNECESSARY APPOINTMENTS…read more I did blood labs in October. I received a call in November that I needed to repeat a lab, & when I asked which lab & why, I was told I would need to make an appointment (with Amanda Schaffer, PA) to find out. . I raised this issue with the office manager,Tammy. She did not really respond to this issue beyond acknowledging I SHOULD be able to get that information from the office. ⁣ NEXT I WAS TOLD I NEEDED AN APPOINTMENT TO GET A RENEWED PRESCRIPTION for a lifetime medication. I HAD ALREADY 1) had an appointment, 2) new blood labs were ordered specifically for a new prescription, 3) lab results are the basis for writing a prescription, THEREFORE, THE PCP IS ABLE TO RENEW THE PRESCRIPTION & HAS NO NEED FOR FURTHER PATIENT ASSESSMENT. NO FURTHER APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED. The 3rd time this office told me that I had to have an appointment was for a medicare annual exam. So I went. ⁣ Turns out the appointment was used to kick me out of the practice & I had to remind Amanda schaffer, PA to address the reason I was told to come in. ⁣ In summary: my goal is to clarify the difficulties I experienced with this office: 1) being told I have to book unnecessary appointments with my PCP & 2) this medical office does not answer their phone.

Dr. Fenalson was one of the coldest people I've ever met and when I asked about side effects of a drug he wanted me to take he said there were none which was absolutely not the case. Then he couldn't get me in for my actual physical which I was under the impression that's what I was there for which I had already waited 6 months to get in, for 3 more months, then he cancelled the physical a week out. Then I went to Knudsen for endocrinology and that was the costliest waste of time ever. She did nothing but run duplicate tests and shared the results. Pointless as all get out. $800. Her office was the worst I've ever been to. You walk in and directly in front of the entrance is a desk where obviously one would expect to be greeted, but they rudely tell you it's the other window, and they are for the lab( maybe switch desks since i proceeded to watch twenty people go through the same thing ‍) then take a seat, but oh the couch is missing it's cushion, enjoy. Then waiting in the exam room I observed that it actually has never been cleaned. There was arm cheese on the chair and the exam table was filthy! Thank God I wasn't having an exam! Dr.Knudsen was friendly but such an odd scatterbrained woman. She didn't actually talk to me, she talked out loud as she typed into my chart slowly, it was the strangest experience. Huge waste of time and money. My heart rate was high when I got in because they were anxiety producing. The nurse said I'll check it again before you go. It was still at 100 but she waited until it said 99 for a moment and said ok that will do, obviously because 100 is the cut off for issues and she didn't want to deal with it. Then I was checked out by the picture of endocrine health, an almost bald overweight woman with a thyroid scar who could barely speak.

And you could never find a better nurse than Vicky. She always gets me answers to any questions that I have. I get personal attention from her. The other nurse,Kathy is also great. With PCP I had Dr. Nicole Munshower, in Yorktown, always brush off my symptoms and tell me that my day-to-day lifestyle was what was always wrong, even when I would do everything she suggested. I recently switched PCPs due to this to Dr. Latisha Murray she listened to what I had to say more when I had my appointment in early December, 2024, but I have not received any follow-up from that appointment even after calling, leaving voicemails, and messages. For OBGYNs it has not been much better unfortunately. My first doctor in this department was not bad, it is just unfortunate that so many birth controls are under researched before put on market. The Nurse Practitioner I saw next, Isabelle Smoot, belittled my experiences on different birth controls and opinions as someone who stays educated. I told her what I was not okay with after doing my own research and she kept pushing those options including giving me pamphlets. I looked back on the visit notes and it was written down wrong what symptoms I was having, reported what I was saying in response wrong, and it stated that I had a physical exam that day which I did not. Along with all these problems with the staff, my medical history is reported in-correcting and most documentation is often not correct either.

Read all the negative reviews because they speak volumes. I should have listened to the reviews and did more research before getting scarred by Dr. John Pitman, III. These people do not care about you or the oath they took! Money is more important. Most people are private about their surgeries so will not provide their full name publicly but no one is going to leave a review for a place that did nothing to them. RESEARCH DR. JOHN PITMAN, III and you will find out yourself his true history from other state and you will find out any disciplinary action against him.

I had lost track of where I had parked it and I was so tired and with the storm, ( it wasn't a pleasant experience), but anyway, everyone was very helpful helping me try to find the right building and so forth. A young man, BRIAN,( a tall and bearded ) was a sweetheart, he told me where to go and finally poor thing decided to take me right where I was going. He didn't have to do that, he was working but what a kind and thoughtful young man to be so nice to a befuddled old woman. I appreciate all that he did. I wanted to give him something for his troubles, but wouldn't take anything ( I only had a credit card, but would have gotten something for him).
