After an hour M&S calls my daughter and tell her they're not going to come. She calls AAA and is told they still show M&S is coming. So I call M&S and I'm told, very rudely, they are not coming. I ask if they informed AAA of this fact, lady on the phone says "We told your daughter, she can tell them!" Now it's getting close to night, and AAA is just finding out that their provider is not going to come and they have to find someone else. I don't blame AAA because they were in the dark, but M&S are terrible and basically don't care. Save yourself the heartache, get someone else from the beginning or you will find yourself still stuck on the side of the road.

McKinley is already closed around noon since it's a Saturday. Buddy was so kind to look at our van, put in the spare tire and suggested for us to go back to Montgomery to have it fixed. First, this is not an actual Pep Boys (pay attention to the spelling) and you can't report them to the corporate office. I think these folks take advantage of the elderly people. I think they did this with my Parents. When I attempted to discuss the transaction with the manager/owner, he was very rude and actually hung up on me instead of discussing the situation. He got VERY defensive from the initial start. I informed him that I thought it was very suspect that the alternator in my Parents' car went bad immediately after they drove off from getting tires replaced at this location. When they returned, the technician immediately informed them that it was the alternator. The owner/manager stated that he gave my Parents the option to get it repaired elsewhere, knowing that there are limited locations that can fix the alternator or will even allow them to drive to a different location. When Po Boyz so called fixed the alternator, they did not provide a detailed receipt of the cost of the part, labor, etc. They just gave my parents a set amount. NEVER have I personally received service that the receipt is not detailed out. That's not way to run a legitimate business. Why did the alternator suddenly become a problem after getting tires replaced? I have heard from others, that shady activity goes on at this location. And while I prefer to not go into details because I do not have firsthand proof, you may want to STAY AWAY from this location. The previous reviews alone on Google should be a WARNING. And while the owner may get ALOT of business, I will do my best to warn others to stay away as something is not right. More complaints to follow on the BBB.
